If any secrets are revealed based on a small observation, it ruins that entertainment value and the magicians don't want that. Lea started with knee high boots then into full length stockings --in different colors- then into bare legs- then at end changed into full length dress ! Lea also designs all the dresses herself . Brilliant !

The french judges in the show are more in the construction of a story telling. While here it's in the construction of bluffing someone quickly as a grand show.
Seen lots of quick change-acts, but whisking that one costume off the rack without moving behind anything is what likely blew Penn away (me too). And the little lights that changed the color of another costume was mesmerizing. Everyone else in quick-change now has a new bar to jump over. That win was well-earned! Congratulations! Just incredible!
This is one of my favorite acts of all time on Fool Us. As the act progressed, I was thinking... "Not fooled... Not Fooled... Not Fooled... Wait, what? Huh? What the hell?? How the f**k did she do that??" And then she did she more things after that, but my mind was already blown. Thinking about it afterward, I had some sort of idea how a few parts of it might have been done, but I gave up trying to figure it out. It's not like other quick change acts where someone ducks behind a curtain, rips off a breakaway dress to reveal clothes underneath, and pops out a couple of seconds later. The visual effect is so powerful. Léa does it out in the open, at lightning fast speed, and dares you to keep up with her. And you just can't. The innovation, execution, and artistry are amazing, and in my opinion, she is the queen of quick change now. Best of luck to you, Léa!
During the act I was thinking exactly what Penn said afterwards. "I've seen this before, know how it's done... Hey, that's neat... Wait, that needs explaining... and that...". This was not only performed beautifully and flawlessly, I think it's a new and better way of doing Quick Change. Of doing magic instead. Thank You for a great performance!

It was as pen 🖊 and teller said much more than quick change. Even though the same principals were used it’s how it was used that fooled them . There would be no way to explain something this woman created.
The thing I love the most about Lea's magnificent performance is her reaction to Penn's final words and the appearance of FOOLER on the screen behind her. A lot of foolers didn't even try to look impressed when they fooled Penn and Teller. This accolade is not a big deal for these magicians. Even worse, they took it as granted. But for Lea... It's different. Tears on her face and the moment of disbelief speak louder than any words. We all can see how much this moment mean to her and how much time, skill and emotions she put in this wonderful routine. As for me - I think this act is one of the best I've seen on the show and definitely one of the best of Season 7.

I’ve seen a lot of Fool Us routines, but it’s the first time I teared up when they gave you the trophy. You look like a genuinely nice person that put a lot of effort into this routine and I’m happy for you.
I'm not a magician or an expert but can I just say that I had the exact same thoughts as Penn. Quick change acts are impressive but there was never anything magical about them. Until now. After the first couple of changes here, it became absolutely clear that this was something well beyond an ordinary quick change act. Absolutely beautiful performance and a trophy well deserved.
@@nikhilreddy8550 That was one of the few that I caught, She had someone behind the curtain and she positions herself next to the corner of the change box behind her, with a string to the green dress and probably one to the outer layer of her dress then both were pulled off probably by a machine behind the curtain. Same with the colour transformation of the dress, notice how she positions herself at the other corner. But yes, most of it was so smooth and clean that even knowing the typical setups doesn't prepare you for them in her act.
When I saw quick change, I quickly said "well, someone's not getting a trophy...." But as I watched it, I was completely blown away by everything going on! This was amazing.

It looked like she wasn't following the English while Penn was talking and had no fucking idea what was going on until the trophy came down. I think Penn should've paused and let her translator translate
That was INCREDIBLE!!! Like they said, quick change has certain methods and principles.....but this was NOT just quick change. I loved every part of her act. I also loved seeing Mr. Teller with his famous look of childlike wonder and Mr. Penn with his look of total confusion......but most of all I loved seeing the tears at the end, NOT because I like to see people cry, but because she was so overwhelmed and so happy and the tears were SO well deserved. She honestly was just incredible and I wish I could go to Vegas and watch her act. I wouldn't even care who else was on the ticket. I would go just to see HER.
She is one of the top magicians, easily. Her innovation is amazing. I watched some of these same moves on AGT, and I was still excited to see them again.
I had to go back and rewatch when the leggings showed up. I honestly did not see that coming. We've seen lots of quick change acts, and honestly they're all the same, we know how it's done. This one however was beyond anything I have ever seen. Truly a magical act!
This is one of those cases where the act is even more exciting to Penn and Teller than to the audience because although the result is the same, the method is not. You can tell from Teller's excitement.
Never been a big fan of Quick Change acts. But the creativity and ideas here are amazing. This is so so much more than a typical quick change act. Especially since she does it all by herself, she doesnt have someone constantly covering her. Amazing. Cant believe she made it all by herself too, that's unreal.

Probably because the chances of anyone on AGT figuring out her trick without the cover are astronomically slim to none. Penn and Teller have a lot higher chances of seeing something without it.
I never found quickchange acts to be any interesting ... before this one! She got me at 4:05 - 4:12 like she got Penn exactly on that, his impressive jaw drop will be remembered! Because to amaze this guy, you really have to push the limits of physics very far, so bravo Léa for that! And after that she kept on raising the bar higher and higher (4:40 - 4:52) with more jaw dropping surprises and novelty. The whole act is flawless, beautiful and entertaining, so much so that I had to watch it immediately a second time just to see everything that's in it. Vegas will be delighted to have you 👍

I was surprised to see a quick change act on fool us. Then I watched it, there is genuinely new stuff in here! Cheated and watched a few bits on quarter speed, and it just made me appreciate it even more.
Amazing magic. Between her designing her clothing, changing from one outfit to another, and the creativity of how it was all put together, really great magic. It's a strong level of performance that is enjoyable to see.
The complexity of this act is just stunning. So many elements that present is such different ways that all had to fall into the right place. Awesome act.
I've seen a lot of those speed costume changers but they usually work in pairs. This one is very different. The artistry and the skills to pull this off by yourself. Awesome stuff! Congrats to you Lea Kyle!

These producers on Fool Us need to stop with the dynamic camera work, it does not help the act, if anything it hurts the act. Penn and Teller are blown away because they're not watching the footage and that is how it needs to be, to follow her as they did revealed things Penn and Teller did not see and we at home should Not have seen either. I absolutely loved this performance even in spite of the fact the camera guys blew several effects for me even on first viewing at regular real time speed. 100% loved it, she is good at what she does and shame on those camera guys for getting too close and producers for blowing it with bad cut away and camera angles.
100% agreed. This is happening more and more on this show. If I were these magicians, I would be so angry. I'm surprised P&T have allowed it to happen. They know better.
@@marte1081 This is true. They watch on their portable monitor. I wish that were the program we saw. Magic is hard enough to make angle proof without some camera getting over or behind the performer. There is little magic, especially stage magic, that can performed surrounded.

Of all the episodes I eatched, THIS was probably THE most deserved trophy. After the first change, I thought " oh no, not another routine quick change, this is supposed to be magic". Man, did I have to eat my words within seconds. True magic. And such a refreshing change from the constant card tricks. I felt like Teller's facial expression looked.
A stunning performance by a stunning woman! I've never been more entertained watching a quick change act. You brought this to a stellar level, Léa! Congrats!
The leggings was what got me.. no idea how she got them off.. that was the change that made this different.. very clever aswel going from a curtain..which is standard for this type of act to going on small props only... that was a surprise tbh..never seen a quick change act with this kind of precision...ever..brave and genius.

Even when you can SEE some of the transitions, and see the blue dress still under the red dress, and see one being pulled off revealing another one below.... Eventually there's so many changes that you CAN'T see how it's done.... then it becomes a matter of thinking it really CANNOT be done, yet it IS, then it just happens so fast the it boggles the mind. You win by just overwhelming the senses. My eyes can't keep up. I went to an airshow once where an F-18 came at the crowd at almost Mach 1. Your mind just can't wrap itself around what it's seeing. No sooner than your mind sees it "there", it's already gone from there and somewhere else. Your mind just can't keep up with the transition speed. Same here. This is amazing! All I can say is, You change dresses like a supersonic F-18 fighter jet!

I'm not a magician or an expert but can I just say that I had the exact same thoughts as Penn. Quick change acts are impressive but there was never anything magical about them. Until now. After the first couple of changes here, it became absolutely clear that this was something well beyond an ordinary quick change act. Absolutely beautiful performance and a trophy well deserved.

@@nikhilreddy8550 That was one of the few that I caught, She had someone behind the curtain and she positions herself next to the corner of the change box behind her, with a string to the green dress and probably one to the outer layer of her dress then both were pulled off probably by a machine behind the curtain. Same with the colour transformation of the dress, notice how she positions herself at the other corner. But yes, most of it was so smooth and clean that even knowing the typical setups doesn't prepare you for them in her act.

Game shows like this can produce truly wonderful moments. Léa was so surprised/happy when she realized she made it. And her performance was awesome.

Like they said, quick change has certain methods and principles.....but this was NOT just quick change.
I loved every part of her act.
I also loved seeing Mr. Teller with his famous look of childlike wonder and Mr. Penn with his look of total confusion......but most of all I loved seeing the tears at the end, NOT because I like to see people cry, but because she was so overwhelmed and so happy and the tears were SO well deserved. She honestly was just incredible and I wish I could go to Vegas and watch her act. I wouldn't even care who else was on the ticket. I would go just to see HER.

She is one of the top magicians, easily. Her innovation is amazing. I watched some of these same moves on AGT, and I was still excited to see them again.
This is by far the best act I've ever seen in Penn & Teller Fool Us.
I had to go back and rewatch when the leggings showed up. I honestly did not see that coming. We've seen lots of quick change acts, and honestly they're all the same, we know how it's done. This one however was beyond anything I have ever seen. Truly a magical act!

This is one of those cases where the act is even more exciting to Penn and Teller than to the audience because although the result is the same, the method is not. You can tell from Teller's excitement.
Never been a big fan of Quick Change acts. But the creativity and ideas here are amazing. This is so so much more than a typical quick change act. Especially since she does it all by herself, she doesnt have someone constantly covering her. Amazing. Cant believe she made it all by herself too, that's unreal.

I've seen quite a lot of quick change, on YT and live, but hers is by far the best and most impressive.
It’s interesting how she went from this and using just a bit of cover to change to using none at all on AGT! Amazing performance
Probably because the chances of anyone on AGT figuring out her trick without the cover are astronomically slim to none. Penn and Teller have a lot higher chances of seeing something without it.
I never found quickchange acts to be any interesting ... before this one! She got me at 4:05 - 4:12 like she got Penn exactly on that, his impressive jaw drop will be remembered! Because to amaze this guy, you really have to push the limits of physics very far, so bravo Léa for that! And after that she kept on raising the bar higher and higher (4:40 - 4:52) with more jaw dropping surprises and novelty. The whole act is flawless, beautiful and entertaining, so much so that I had to watch it immediately a second time just to see everything that's in it. Vegas will be delighted to have you 👍

These producers on Fool Us need to stop with the dynamic camera work, it does not help the act, if anything it hurts the act. Penn and Teller are blown away because they're not watching the footage and that is how it needs to be, to follow her as they did revealed things Penn and Teller did not see and we at home should Not have seen either. I absolutely loved this performance even in spite of the fact the camera guys blew several effects for me even on first viewing at regular real time speed. 100% loved it, she is good at what she does and shame on those camera guys for getting too close and producers for blowing it with bad cut away and camera angles.
100% agreed. This is happening more and more on this show. If I were these magicians, I would be so angry. I'm surprised P&T have allowed it to happen. They know better.
I think P&T see evertything Justo on onE camera. It’s the TV edit that has all the camera jumps.
@@marte1081 This is true. They watch on their portable monitor. I wish that were the program we saw. Magic is hard enough to make angle proof without some camera getting over or behind the performer. There is little magic, especially stage magic, that can performed surrounded.

The leggings was what got me.. no idea how she got them off.. that was the change that made this different.. very clever aswel going from a curtain..which is standard for this type of act to going on small props only... that was a surprise tbh..never seen a quick change act with this kind of precision...ever..brave and genius.

Even when you can SEE some of the transitions, and see the blue dress still under the red dress, and see one being pulled off revealing another one below.... Eventually there's so many changes that you CAN'T see how it's done.... then it becomes a matter of thinking it really CANNOT be done, yet it IS, then it just happens so fast the it boggles the mind. You win by just overwhelming the senses. My eyes can't keep up. I went to an airshow once where an F-18 came at the crowd at almost Mach 1. Your mind just can't wrap itself around what it's seeing. No sooner than your mind sees it "there", it's already gone from there and somewhere else. Your mind just can't keep up with the transition speed. Same here. This is amazing! All I can say is, You change dresses like a supersonic F-18 fighter jet!
