I would think that this would be harsh and break off some of the wicker. I just bought some old wicker chair and I don't think they can with stand that type of blast of water.
I would like to remove old paint from my wicker chair. Can I use the same method? What to do later. Put the primer for a new painting or power washing until no paint anymore?
Hello with paint I would be careful since it’s wicker. I have taken paint off my wood fence but that’s a much tougher wood. Try it on a small section with low pressure. But be careful.
I have an old whicker storage trunk from the 1930’s I want to do this but have been worried I might damage it , I will have to wait till a hot day as I’m in England and it will never dry in winter months
I'm surprised you're PRESSURE WASHING your wicker. I pressure washed my windows (and their screens) once. Looking back on them, the screens, in particular, I found I'd stripped them of their filament coating. Nothing to be done except either buy new ones or tolerate how they looked. Good luck on your wicker chairs....I'd guess you've stripped their coating off and given them a shorter lifespan.
LOL you can't use a pressure washer to wash windows!! It's too strong. You have to use chemicals first and then rinse it off. Pressure washers need to be used for concrete cleaning and that sort of thing. But pressure washing these chairs and then putting paint on top of it after it's dried is better than taking a metal brush and soapy water to them.

nothing happened to the wicker, keep in mind the pressure washer is electric, not gas powered.
What about a moldy chair?

Just wondering would you have to put a clear sealer on the chairs after, are they real cane or just plastic.. cheers for your reply
Sheila Bishop yes they are real and yes had to use a clear. Thank you for watching.
Wow! However, please turn the volume on your voice way up, and turn down the music. Thx!

@@kimberlybuell8098 you're not supposed to use soapy water. Just the foam/bubbles from soapy water with a soft brush to brush the dirt off.
