It was a really old hairdryer, i taken hairdryers apart that had even larger 120v AC motors in them.. like the one i destoryed in my video "voltage regulator & motor burnout".
once, me and my friends built a dc motor, and used a ton of duct tape to prevent it from flying apart. then applied 30 volts to it when it was supposed to use 1.5. it reached 7500 rpm

Thought I was the only one to do that to old motors. Has to go out with a bang i guess but thats one tough motor going at 50v.
