Great job! Any hairdresser will tell you always start at the bottom in small width sections-like you did- to get the tangles out, then work your way up in small increments- like you did- all the way to the root.
Is it just me or is this man just satisfying to watch brushing her hair.. I cringed when I see ppl snatch threw the hair like it don’t hurt and then say ah it don’t hurt them yet they can feel a fly land on them so yeah they can feel it!! Don’t be a jerk be like this man and love you animals enough and care for them like this
I agree! Or kicking them really hard while riding but saying it doesn’t hurt them. Makes me sick. So many people believe horses are less sensitive than people because they’re such a big animal. When in actuality they have thinner skin than we do and are way more sensitive to pain. I wish more people knew ab this.
I section my Canadian's horse in 1" sections and finger detangle with the help of coconut oil (nothing with non water soluble silicones in it) and then use a comb. When I catch a snarl I put the comb down and finger detangle then go through the section again. It is VERY time consuming but at the end of it all the horse has lost hardly any hair nor had any broken!
Nutrition is definately a huge part! And the maintained took me 3 months of combing and bagging 24/7 on my gelding tail, it was so gross and thin and straggling and now it's not super long (yet) but it's thickened up and it looks way better, mainly from maintenance. I keep it in a bag and plaited
I just started using BioMane on two of my Horses. There were several Colts in the pasture next to ours and they were bitting my horses tails! On my Mare, her tail was to the Tail Bone! I was very upset. My sons girlfriend told me about BioMane, I am hoping that this is going to be a success story!
Beautiful baby, my question is "does she get to be a horse in a pasture with that beautiful hair?" My horses never see a stall unless REALLY bad weather, I do their hair every other day & omg the knots.. I honestly think they tie knots into each other's main! 😁
Lol wow, its actually how I comb my natural hair vs. Straight. Same with finger entangling! That's textured hair for certain. Start from the ends : D Makes sense for my hair and horses! Easy for me to take in and sensible
Do they like to be combed and brushed? I'm taking care of a friend's horses while she's in ICU. She's been sick long before ICU and the horses gave suffered grooming. Manes are pretty much dreadlocks at this point and I don't know what to do. Help please.
If they are to the point of locs, they need to be cut. Not much you can do at that point unless you want to spend hours detangling. Sounds like your friend isn't a very good horse owner.
Would a dandy/hard brush work??? What I do it go through with that from the end up while also using my fingers. And then use a normal human brush and there are absolutely NO tangles at the point I just use it so it’s more straight and easy for me to braid
I would recommend brushing your horse's mane when you are bathing them. Thick curly hair is best detangled when it's drenched and covered in conditioner :)
Brush it like you brush your own hair if it’s that long!! Start at ends and take it easy you wouldn’t rip out a humans hair !!! That’s what I keep in mind
My horse hates to have his mane brushed, doesn't mind the detangling spray but as soon as I raise my brush he holds his head high so I can't brush it. Any tips?
Any woman or man who has long hair knows that you start at the bottom and go up. And I've had a brush do that exact same thing his brush did. It's not because his brush is any better than a walmart brush.
The brush looks like a common hair brush for women, which I do recommend using personally, but I honestly don't feel this brush is anything special and if anything using these techniques with a standard hair brush would probably work just as well! My advice is get a standard curved hair brush, similar to Biomane's and use a similar technique and you're good to go. Thanks Biomane for your help and advice, not trying to put you out of business but your brush isn't something special or new to me.
Um, sorry but you can’t get results like that without great genetic. Yes, maintenance will help a lot, good nutrition will help a lot, but genetics are the true key 🔑.
Maybe the horse isn’t on the feed and everything, or maybe they just got it and just started. Maybe for some reason they had to cut his/her mane. So many things could have happened rather than the product didn’t work. We don’t know so don’t be so quick to judge
Lol, why buy this $12.00 brush when you can just stop by Walmart and get the same exact thing for $5.00? It's literally a bristle brush, and it's not that special. A dandy brush would be another good substitute
I like how he says, "You got to mane-tain it."
Or how she has a boyfriend at the other end of the barn.
I realize I'm quite off topic but do anybody know of a good website to watch new movies online ?
@Westley Duncan Lately I have been using FlixZone. You can find it on google =)
@Nasir Immanuel yea, I have been watching on FlixZone for since april myself :D
@Nasir Immanuel Thanks, I went there and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :) Appreciate it !
Is the horse even tied?? Wow good job girl you are calm
Any well trained and tamed horses will stand still without being tied, mine do!
@@TaiMizuki So does mine, but he still moves around to check if theres some hay left

that buckskin in the stall is SO pretty!!!! what is her name??
I just started using BioMane on two of my Horses. There were several Colts in the pasture next to ours and they were bitting my horses tails! On my Mare, her tail was to the Tail Bone! I was very upset. My sons girlfriend told me about BioMane, I am hoping that this is going to be a success story!
This is also how I brush my hair. Thought it was common knowledge to start at the ends? 😂
Bruh I’m so mad at my horse right now... he had the most beautiful flaxen mane and he just ripped half of it out 😢 damn
Beautiful baby, my question is "does she get to be a horse in a pasture with that beautiful hair?" My horses never see a stall unless REALLY bad weather, I do their hair every other day & omg the knots.. I honestly think they tie knots into each other's main! 😁
Katrina Georgia Girl with how well he puts in the care and time for them i am almost positive they get daily turnout.
I know you can with the tail
@Hannah They're most likely inside during feed times and the hottest parts of the day and get turn out between. I'm sure they don't stall them all day
Good video. I laughed after you did such a good job at brushing and she got goosebumps and shook it all out.
i’ve just started sharing a cob with a veryyy thick long mane,, this was very helpful thank u
You guys need to do a how to wash and condition and what shampoo you guys use
She’s so calm 😍
I just love love horses there hair is realy long love it.
Lol wow, its actually how I comb my natural hair vs. Straight. Same with finger entangling!

This horse is beautiful 💚
Thanks so much for making such an informative video. Just brilliant xx
What detangler did you use? The detangler you sell is a gel/lotion and not a liquid so you can’t spray it, right?
beautiful grey love this
What is in the detangler? I've been following your way to maintain manes, and actually seeing a big difference in my sweet itch PRE
This guy saved my own hair years ago..
Thank you so much!
I really need a brush like that but how do I buy it because it says it does not ship to South Africa

With the biomane tail brush, i have a brush that i already have that has the exact same brissles
what if your horse has thick, coarse, wavy/curly hair?
I would recommend brushing your horse's mane when you are bathing them. Thick curly hair is best detangled when it's drenched and covered in conditioner :)
How about fringe hair? My girl has some wild hair.
smol horse smol human my horse has wavy mane too. But hers is not too thick
How often are you supposed to brush a horses mane and tail?
How to get that brush you use?
I would love 2 braid her main
Brush it like you brush your own hair if it’s that long!! Start at ends and take it easy you wouldn’t rip out a humans hair !!! That’s what I keep in mind
Hey guys, I'm dying to know what breed of horse chrome is. Thanks a lot
Sorrel Quarter Horse
Chrome is a quarter horse out of a son of Tuf N Busy!
they say shes a quarter, but she looks like a paso fino or andalusian, or even criollo
That’s how I curry my own mane. I start at the bottom and work my way up. 😏😄
My horse hates to have his mane brushed, doesn't mind the detangling spray but as soon as I raise my brush he holds his head high so I can't brush it. Any tips?
Your to rough maybe? Probably not but that might be a sign
Any woman or man who has long hair knows that you start at the bottom and go up. And I've had a brush do that exact same thing his brush did. It's not because his brush is any better than a walmart brush.
Whnever i get my horse i'm keeping mine's mane braided

Is she Paso Fino or Andulusian?
She's a qh I believe.
what breed is she ?
TatjanadeGraaf Looks like either andalucian or quarter horse.
Bitless QHstrian im pretty sure she's an andalusian
Chrome is a quarter horse, out of a son of Tuf n Busy!
Hmmmmmm why is there a buckskin with a short mane huh I thought it was supposed to grow the mane that looks pretty short to me

She has a mane that long because she's a spanish horse.
Terry Reyes She’s an American Quarter horse. She has a long mane because it’s well taken care of.
She’s a quarter horse
