Hey Adrew! We talked on marktplaats a lot recently. You can try it with your Heco's On my MB Quart 2000 I hear a lot of chance when I do it, I heard these speakers in the shop and they are pretty decent, but MB Quart 980s v2 blow them away, easy. B&W always gets me with their looks but sound, no. When I was in the shop to buy my MB Quart 2000 they had the whole new line of B&W the 703 s2 704 s2 and the 702 s2. Guess what, MB Quart 2000 blew them away, not even in the same postalcode... Anyway, nice video as always! Can't wait for the Heco vids!
I so regret not buying that mb quart 2000 when I had the opportunity. I was afraid that the broken tweeters where hard to find. These speakers where very expensive so they come never online. Only in Germany they pop up so once in as while. I will keep that terminal connection in my head, the next time I always try both connections to come to a conclusion. Mb quart sound is spacial, much wider sound stage as those B&W's. Those MB quarts 2000 where 4000DM in 1992, reference class. Also the small MB quarts sound nice and because not many people know them they are not expensive. People always pay way to much for over hyped speakers when there are much better speakers for half the money. The hecos have the possibility to tri-amp them and they have a weird connection so you can seperated + ore -2db for the highs and the mids, didn't test that out yet. The difference between these heco's and B&W is huge, the bass is very round but fast the mids are special and the highs are not harp. Everybody did...tested in the same room on the same amp with speaker A-B switch.
