Stopped the vlog mid-video to add this: Make sure you're checking your temperature first thing in the morning. Like, DO NOT get out of bed or even roll over if you can help it, because literally ANY slight movement changes the accuracy of an ovulation thermometer a significant amount. Also maybe look into methods of monitoring your cervical fluid, because that will add to the accuracy :)
You should read “Taking Control of your Fertility.” It’s a great book about the fertility awareness method and just learning more about your body in general!! It talks about your basal body temperature (which is what that device detects) and also paying attention to your cervical fluid, etc. I used it because I WANTED to get pregnant and it worked almost right away! It’s a great natural birth control and helpful if you want to get pregnant as well.
omg cant wait for apt content! also i LOVE your vlogs...recently found your channel and binging all the vlogs, i prefer them more than sit down videos! cheers from SF, Bay Area!
My fiancé tried to be helpful and went to skip an ad while we were watching... I was like NOOOO lol then kindly explained why and he thought it was adorable that I cared so much haha
I would love to get a daysy when I can afford it! 😍I currently use a regular BBT thermometer and track my temperatures using the Kindara app. I recommend the book “Taking Charge of Your Fertility” for learning more about what exactly the daysy tracks!
The daisy is really great! Just make sure you’re careful on yellow days... and I would highly recommend reading the book taking charge of your fertility to better understand tracking your own fertility beyond your temperature.
The app is new but tracking your temperature is a way old concept lol that is one main way women trying to have babies check when it's a more plausible time. Your temp spikes anywhere between 1 to 3 degrees. I'm a mommy of 3 and my last baby. My son is our little rainbow baby. 2 miscarriage trying to have him and a year and a half of trying. You can also put your temp in fertility apps and they also calculate your ovulation. Good luck:)
So happy to hear you've found an apartment and signed the lease - I'm excited to see the moving vlogs! My partner and I will be moving in February because our lease comes up for renewal then and we've found out the council is planning major roadworks down the street we live on. They're taking away all the on-street parking (which is where I park) and there will be construction going right through the night so we want out before that starts! We only moved in this year though so I'm really not keen on packing everything up again. I'm hoping watching your vlogs will get me excited about the idea of moving!
I love tracking my fertility!! You are going to love it and feel so empowered. BUT please please do not rely on that 100%. You also need to track cervical mucus and cervical positioning. Read the book The Fifth Vital Sign and listen to her podcast, Fertility Friday. Lisa is a wealth of knowledge and you'll learn how to track your fertility the right way. It's a learning curve but it's so worth it! No need to pump your body full of nasty hormones.
Me too!! I'm so excited! We close on our first home on September 27th so we will be moving in the same weekend!!!!! Please do a bunch of shopping hauls!!
Fun vlog! I love San Diego! Congrats on the new apartment!! You'll love having a washer/dryer...you can do laundry at 2AM if you want! 😄 Have a great week!
I love your vlogs! I live in San Diego! Cant wait for your moving and decorating vlogs! Please vlog moving day! ❤ my bf and i are looking for a new apt too because are rent will be going up as well and i NEED a in unit washer dryer lol
Since you’re waiting awhile to have kids, you should look into an IUD. The copper IUD is non-hormonal and lasts 10 years, but you can remove it whenever you’re ready to have kids!
Agreed. Though, I'd recommend a hormonal IUD, like Mirena (the hormones are localized to your uterus, not systemic). The copper IUD tends to make period cramps worse + cause heavier bleeding. With the Mirena, I don't get a period at all....glorious!
Congrats on your new apartment! But if you're moving the weekend of 9/28 how will you make it to my wedding in Massachusetts? 😁 On another note you will totally feel like you got a life upgrade when you can do your laundry whenever you want! 🎉🎈
Also, in san diego they have a FULL gluten free bakery!! Its called starry lane! Its gluten free, dairy free, nut free, etc!! Its LITERALLY amazing!!!!!

I use natural cycles, I really recommend it! I log other symptoms, like period, PMS and stuff. Been using for 2 years, LOVING IT!!🧡

I second the reading of that book! It is a very enjoyable read on top of being informative and easy to understand.
Never dumb to drive two hours for something. It nice to get out of town every once in a while. Congrats on the new apartment.
So excited for all the new apartment videos! My fiancé and I just signed for our apartment and it will be so fun to follow along with your videos! 💕

When I saw the title I thought maybe you were gonna say you’re pregnant 😅😊
10:10 also, so funny I work in the building you’re driving by in this clip! I walk by holy matcha almost every day on my lunch time walks haha
Kinda skeptical about that method of birth control...does not look too reliable. 😅😮 Here's praying you'll not get preggers prematurely! 😂
