I've noticed that Italian men are usually very invested in raising their children. They do not leave 90% of the work around the kids to women like most men in the world.

I went through IVF over 34 years ago. Several times did not work but on December 23 I received a call and the person on the other line began singing a Christmas song to me and then advised me I was going to have a baby. That baby is now 33 years old.

Second, you two are such a blessing to each other and I admire the two of you even more. I pray that your journey through IVF is successful and I pray that Jessi’s body heals and she can no longer be in the pain she’s been in. Sending love and encouragement to you both!

I'm 8 weeks pregnant after 2 years of IVF (1 endoscopy, 4 egg retrievals, 3 embryo transfers, 1 failed transfer, 1 miscarriage, and 100k out of pocket). It was the hardest experience of my life, but will have been worth it in the end. I don't wish this experience on anyone, and I hope your journey is as fast and painless as possible

I suffered from *extremely* painful endometriosis for years and had several surgeries. My ex-husband and I could not afford IVF, and I went on Clomid four times with no luck. I took a break for a year, and after a few more endometriosis surgeries, I tried a higher dose of Clomid and became pregnant with my now 26-year-old daughter! Keep the faith, and your baby will come to you! I wish you both the best! ❤

I send you all the positive vibes that can be. (Sorry English is not my first language. It is French than Italian). Anyway I send you all the love, corraggio,... I think you took a good decision to look at what the Italian health system can offer to you. I am Canadian and lived in Italy many years (my husband is Fiorentino). I had better health care in Italy. Love you! Take care!

Wow! Very happy for you guys that you’re taking this step. I too had horrible Stage 4 Endo and suffered horribly for years with pain. I also went through two cycles of IVF here in Southern CA. Extremely expensive and could never have done it without the help of my parents. I can say it is quite a process psychologically and physically. Wishing you both the best of luck ❤️

About 30 years ago, I was diagnosed with endometriosis and had several surgeries. I know what you're going through! At the time we chose not to do IVF. I'm sure things have changed dramatically in 30 years, though. We chose to adopt, and our beautiful girl is getting married 5/24! Wishing you all the best. Soon you will have your precious baby.

I also had severe endometriosis and PCOS. 3 surgeries and they actually scraped my uterus out and actually had to cut fibroids out of my uterus as well. I also needed thyroid medication and progesterone. Fast forward, finally got pregnant with my miracle baby the natural way and have a super healthy boy I was able to carry to full term! Hang in there ❤

I’m so happy to hear your news. It helps tremendously to have future parents on the same page. One thing I would suggest is to get therapy while you two are going through this. There’s going to be ups and downs for you both which also includes hormonal challenges. Also, make sure that you’re taking the mental breaks you may need which may include minimizing traveling as it’s quite stressful too. It’s going to be a lot of appointments and medication. Good wishes being sent your way. ❤
My initial process I froze my eggs. Sadly, eggs are not as stable as embryos and they completely dissolved. I would guess that the doctors would probably recommend freezing embryos instead of eggs.

Love the fact you guys are willing to tell all and help everyone who could be going through it as well and showing how much you guys will have to go through and spend, that's a really big point for people om that position, it can make or break it for people over here( in the states where it's ruiniously expensive) so grazi mille!!

You guys bought tears to my eyes with your most recent announcement of Jassie’s diagnosis of endometriosis. First of all I’m sorry you are suffering with this dibilated disease. As a young women I also was diagnosed with severe endometriosis. I suffered in silence and endure years of pain. It really touch me that you are willing to share your story.i also respect that Alessio is right by your side showing his support because endometriosis is a fidelity disease that affects both of you. I will be watching and praying for the best possible outcome for you both.

Thank you for sharing. I have also been through the wringer with endometriosis & a lot of other female problems. Initially I felt as if I was crazy. Then when I finally found a female gynecologist who didn't treat me as if I was some sort of nut job I was finally able & willing to go through surgery. It is particularly difficult if one is trying to work with a doctor who not only doesn't validate the physical symptoms you are experiencing but who goes that extra step to let you know that his professional opinion is that you (like most women) are emotionally unbalanced & are imagining much of what you are experiencing. I am so happy you have successfully negotiated the spiritual, mental, emotional & physical realities of your specific situation. May God bless you & keep you.

Oh you two! We have walked where you are and together you have such a healthy outlook on this. Not to say that there aren’t moments that aren’t difficult, but the way you are approaching. This is so mature. After having one child with fertility issues, we were unable to conceive, and carry again after I had a miscarriage. We went on an added five children through adoption for a total of six. Families are made in so many different ways that whatever way you choose for your own family won’t be wrong. in the end, I wound up needing to have a hysterectomy because of the use of fertility drugs. I don’t regret it. Much love and care to you both.

I had endometriosis as well, when in my late 20's & early 30's. I had multiple surgeries as well. I was married at the time, but my husband & I had decided against children (a blessing in the long run since we divorced), so I ended up having a hysterectomy (also a good decision, because I have a severe autoimmune condition, which I believe caused the endometriosis in the first place). But i am praying for you two & to become parents, which I believe you'd be amazing at!!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️

I have endometriosis as well and have also done 2 surgeries. It sucks and i feel for you. I will say, the thing that has helped immensely is changing my diet. Cutting out processed sugar, most carbs, gluten, diary and red meat. My pain has gone away almost completely except when my period comes around.
It’s one of my biggest fears when we decide to try and conceive - not being able to do it naturally.
I pray that you will be able to become pregnant and feel as good as you possibly can. I’m thankful for your beautiful smile and personality - for always looking to the bright side and your always sharing your vulnerability with the world.

I wish you all the best on your IVF journey. My two wonderful daughters, now 16 and 18, were conceived via IVF. I know that it is an emotional process and wish you all the best! when I went through this process in Charlotte, North Carolina, and was driving an hour there each day, and even planning that small trip in the cycle was a process, so I can imagine your geographical challenges. Sending you all the positive vibes and prayers- many blessings to you!

Endometriosis is so debilitating! I had severe adenomyosis as well and finally decided to have a hysterectomy and adopt or foster in the future because I was in pain all the time and couldn't leave the bed for two weeks in the month. It was just unbearable to the point of me thinking about suicide more and more. It's crazy that I've been in less pain right after surgery than before and healing is going well so far. I only live a 30 minutes drive away from the Italian border and next time I'll be there I leave all the luck I might have had when it comes to pregnancy in Italy for you guys. I wish you all the best ❤

You're in my prayers guys. Endometriosis is not good. Pain and and and. I had Endometriosis and never had a regular cycle till I had my baby. Also it was a heavy cycle with lots of polyps. Strangely, a cure is having a baby, buut having a baby is what's difficult. After my baby I had to have a partial hysterectomy. Good luck and praying for you. 😇🙏🕊👼

It’s exciting that you are starting to take this journey towards parenthood! Wishing you the very best of luck! 🤞🏽
It’s wonderful that you want to share the process for this very personal journey with us. I am really curious as to the procedural process and costs differences between Italy & the USA.
Hopefully all will work out logistically and medically! ❤

My husband and i got our daughter in our first round of ICSI! I only had 4 eggs, at the end only one developed and was implanted.and that was the golden egg!!!! It is about quality, not quantity. Keep your heads high and don't lose hope.❤
