Whaler has always built solid boats, looks like the 250 Dauntless is keeping up the family tradition nicely. A minor point though Capt. Steve, you said there was zero distortion through the windscreen. If you're looking through it just behind the T-top support where the glass is curving back to the flat sides, there _is_ some distortion visible in your footage at least twice.
Correction - I took my own advice, went to my full screen computer and it looks as though Stijn is right - the 350 & 400 appear to still be the Supercharged V6 engines.
Still the best hull on the market but at the US economy plunges into recession management needs to note how and why Yamaha continues to run circles around the entire Industry still going on for as long is I can remember (20 Years plus easy.) #outofexcuses
Love a Boston Whaler. Fantastic brand.
That boat with the 400 gives me goosebumps.
Never thought they were worth it until I watched them handle inlets, wow
I ordered one- December build date. April delivery
300 HP v8
She is a beauty. Wonder what test results would be with the other 2 outboards?

Wow, if she is that fast with the Mercury 300, who needs 350 and 400?
You don't need more power. It can do everything and burn less fuel while doing it.
Correction... the Mercury 350 and a 400 horsepower engine options are not V8. But rather the 2.6L V6

You are both wrong. 2.6 in-line 6 engine

Such a big boat does not have a sink in the head?!? That's unacceptable!!!
