You guys got the video title all wrong. It should be "7 AR Smart Glasses marketing ads with varying degrees of accurate representation" because the simple fact is, most of what you're being shown is distinctly not at all representative of the actual product or what it's currently capable of doing. The Microsoft HoloLens are the worst offenders on the list. They were overpriced, under-engineered garbage that failed to do 80% of what they were "supposed" to do according to the marketing for them, and the other 20% that they could do was disappointing and shoddy at best.
Basically this entire video is a collection of products vaguely stealing their design ideas from the MCU's Iron Man and, generally, failing to accurately adapt those ideas to real life.

Recon Jet was silently cancelled by Intel in 2018. BIG MISTAKE...the application for Enterprise when coupled with Atheer were endless. Intel partnered up with Toshiba for a unit that runs off of Windows 10 and costs a minimum of $2400.

As a commercial drone operator, I'm looking for something like this so I can have better flight control flying in close quarters, while still providing me with VLOS. I'm really looking forward to the release of BT-300's, but that price is going to be a killer.
Any suggestions for similar FPV goggles that provide VLOS, without breaking the bank? Between my new S7 Edge, my Phantom 4 Professional & Christmas, money is a super tight right now. I understand that when it comes to tech, the old adage of "you get what you pay for" usually holds true.... I'm just wondering if you have any suggestions on some reasonably priced fpv/vlos goggles that I may have missed.

I have the BT300's they are TOTALY worth every penny. I use mine for CAD and a AR based FLIR imaging .
You should keep an eye on the Intel Vaunt and what developers are going to be able to create with it, as its actual glasses with no additional attachments that make you look like a pinhead.

The Hololense like every physical property Microsoft develops is the size of a basketball court, the Intel Vaunt not only looks a billion times better, it doesn't require you to wear the Titanic around your head to play low quality video games in the most impractical way possible.
I can say most of them are craps，especially the last one CastAR.Wearing two micro projecter on the eyes, it means image is not display on glasses, it projects to the wall in front of user.
