This VA's a real treasure. Really brought Chisato to life with these little touches in the tone and manner of speech. Gotta be one of the best dub performances of the year.
@@putrasandy3243 The definition of dubbing is to replace the original audio with a new language, and this was originally produced in Japan so the actress was just voicing over the original material. "Sub" implies that the media's in its original language, but subtitles translate for the audience, not that the VA does the subtitles lol
@@seraphim9219 Yes, and the original audio language of the drawings is silence. For anime all audio are dubs, and non-Japanese ones are almost always redubs. In live action it is different since there is an actual original audio that came with the video without having to be dubbed, unless it's a silent movie that got dubbed (is that a thing?).
I'm glad she went with Moshi Moshi Moshi Moshi. But, even if she went with Hai Hai, it would still lighten the mood because of the tone she applied to it. Best character of the season for me.
I just really want to see part which that takina va squeak for winning Jan Ken Pon against cheater chisato.. that squeak surely the most genuine happiest sound I ever hear in a while..
