Now here's one thing I don't get: at the start of round 2, the players were offered 4 choices of effectively the same thing, 1 deployment of a standard tier 2 unit at rank 2. They all cost the same to unlock and recruit normally. So why does picking the Mustangs cost 100 supply, while all the others are only 50?
@@roach590 yep, tanks aren't that high in the damage output and relatively tanky making them extremely annoying when getting hacked as the time to destroy that unit is already enough to take over the next one, unless there are some more heavy hitters behind
the times I try to select a unit in a video is too damn high ;D got annoyed by mass tanks today too. scorps were decent against it but then loose crawlers killed me as my scorps were distracted for too long.
I got confronted with this tank start yesterday and also countered it with forts, but I didn't run rocket punch. And I probably would not used it anyway as I always thought it was against larger targets. And I got rolled over.
question, as I see it a lot more lately: why high explosive stormcallers? I usually feel like the normal splash damage combined with the rocket spread is usually already good enough
I like it because 1. It's a cheap tech (150) 2. It guarantees more chaff clear. I hate it when there's one stray fang forcing another full storm volley 3. It kills medium units faster because of larger splash. The tradeoff is weaker shield break and giant units. 4. If you ever want to take EM in the future, it synergizes with the splash Overall it contributes to winning the chaff war, which allows your others units to do more work.
Classic aerial specialist gameplay.
Lmao indeed... No fcks given...

especially since mustangs aren't _that_ great. i mean, they get strong with levels but lvl 2 isn't high lievel
It's one of those balance quirks devs put in place. Also, why does hacker cost 100 to unlock while being a 200 cost unit?
Did my eyes deceive me, or do they punch extra times if they heal past the threshold again?
That is super strong and I hadn't thought of that.
I feel like the hacker is a great counter. People destroy me with hackers when I go tanks

rocket punch has become my favorite thing recently, it's just so absurdly strong
it looks good as well
WF was weird from him. Feels like if he just gets sledge EMP he might be able to outscale you?
Cause rocket punch won't trigger.
Yep. The better response would be:
EM sledge + Melting point (for that big nano fort)
@@stoneymechabellum Thx for the answer! Btw. haven't seen a "win a replay" in your vids in some time ;)

I think scorpion should be better counter tho, one shot already killed 3-4 tank
Punch is specifically designed for medium unit. It also works well in a fort vs melter mirror
If I remember right, the punch has a 25 meter splash. So it is very strong against medium units.

@@stoneymechabellum thank you for your reasoning! especially never thought about that EM aspect.
