As a mother of a longboarder, thanks Adam. Your chronicles are interesting, engaging, knowledgeable, well-written, complimentary in highlighting individual strengths, and all-around fantastic!
As a super-casul commuter/cruiser i did not know how Pantheon started, but found that nugget fascinating (Ember v1 still going!). Dipped into LDP after seeing the ultraskate documentary, but then moved somewhere very hilly, and downhill is way more popular here. Just dusted off the GBomb, so this and your other videos have been aspirational.
Great job! Thanks for chronicling this important era in distance skateboarding history. Adrenalina Plano was my first competition. It was a sad effort, but watching these athletes and rubbing elbows with the fastest skaters on the planet really lit the fire for me! PS: there’s an embarrassing but cool shot of Paul Kent lapping me in that Plano race at 13:58.
The only sad effort is wanting to do something but making no effort to do it. You showed up, and you went on to cover impressive distances. Miss you Jude!
I miss this era. I participated in the first Adrenalina marathon in 2010 and Jeff wasn't an unknown at the time. He was already skating with the Bustin guys and had made a name for himself. I remember him and Solomon Lang lapping me. But at least I finished 2hrs 10min. My legs were dead after 26 miles, good thing they had free pollo tropical after.
That was great! 😊 I only got into the LDP push scene after it was all over, so it was really cool to learn about the legacy of this event. Well edited, and good job finding all of that old footage
Man, this video just teleported me back to a better time of Dancing & Distance. The best DnD xD Love that you're honouring this vein of LDP in your attempts to progress it.
Truly a great Video! It gives me as a relatively new Skater a great perspective on history and performance of the golden age of longboarding. Please continue making these great Videos!
Amazing Video! Thank you for creating and sharing this! Appreciate the hard work, skill and knowledge! You have made this place better then it was before, and for that "we " Thank you!
I got to know about Adrenalina when I had an oppurtunity to talk to Mr. Alexandre Bangnoi. Man, I wonder how did you get the rights to use those footages to form this wonderful narrative !!! Awesome Video 🙂
Mannn I’m only up to 10 hours of steady state a week on my board. Kent was doing 30 that’s insane. The 15 mph wall is real tho. I’m stuck on it rn. That’s inhuman
thank you for the inspiring video. I do not fully understand the essential parts of push power: the height of board, size of wheel, flex of board or the push geature? thanks again

Great video! Just starting longboarding a year a go on a pranayama. Put on some wedges and learn to pump on it. Good work out while having fun on it!
