The bands sound is like the "icaro" that carries you in the temporary trance for the duration of song. Listening to MGMT kind of opened my eyes. Got to meet James in person- (saw him walking around at "The Cosmopolitan" in Las Vegas) and got a chance to Thank him. He was so kind. MGMT is just "IT". It's so close to the recording In fact it's better they're truly professional Also love how Ben and Andrew sing at the same time for most of the song. They're slightly out of tune (because well it's human voice) and it gives a lot of depth to the songs

he is trying to signal the sound engineer to turn up the monitors of either the guitars or keyboards. I have seen them play live several times and he always crouches over his bass like that. just how he plays. hes got a really light touch with his bass. tons of sustain and harmonizing bass lines. great player.
