Speaking of the radio before you beat the game if you jump on the radio it plays bowsers laugh and after you beat the game it plays a Japanese version of jump up super star (like we just heard) and whatever the other song is called

Well, if Mario is controlling the Moe-Eyes, wouldn’t HE be humming the songs? I mean it makes sense he should know those songs considering all of them are from Mario games. That also doesn’t make sense, considering when he captured the frog for the first time, the frog had Mario’s voice, and after that it just miraculously disappeared, and after that cutscene, he just keeps the enemy’s/character’s voice.
Dangit. Do I need to buy a Switch now?

Tbh, Mushroom Kingdom in and of itself is kind of an up front easter egg... like... the whole thing and almost everything in it... can't really fault you for not listing the obvious. (Not gonna lie though, got face-melting levels of nostalgia from it... XD)
Oh man, when I first found the painting to the Mushroom Kingdom while in the Luncheon Kingdom... that was one of the best moments I’ve had in any video game.

You missed a few: The scientist costume is based on a TV ad for the Donkey Kong GB game. You can find 8-Bit Rosalinas on the Dark Side and Darker Side of the moon. Pausing and unpausing the game makes the classic 1-up sound. Plus you made a very easy mistake: The painters outfit is not actually from Mario Paint. It's from a N64DD game called Mario Artist. Mario Paint has Mario with the painter coat but with his regular hat.

I had gotten a start already, clearing all the available Moons up to the the Wooded Kingdom initially but then decided to just play through the story (still collecting the purple tokens along the way) as I learned that a decent chunk of the Moons aren't accessible until after the credits roll. Plus I wanted to see the story play out anyway.

Another Easter egg is when Pauline is singing in New Donk City. While the donkey kong music is played, she starts to mimic her original panicked sprites from the arcade game! Pretty neat, right?

OMG ITS IN THE GAME! This guy makes music for many nintendo games like mario games, animal crossing and many others. He puts is many of his games he works on this little song hidden somewhere. In luigis mansion if you wait long enough in the menu, you can hear an awesome remix of the song. In mario kart in one of the maps yoshi is watching the race. If you go close to him you can hear him sing this song. In animal crossing K.K. Sliders one song is this. In some mario drawing game (i dont remeber the name of it) if you press O in Mario long enough you get this song. Hes a legend and has been and hidden this song in many more games but this is what i remember.
Wear different costumes for the bowser rematch and he'll make comments on them... For example N64 Mario outfit bowser says "hey that outfit looks familiar"

The Totaka's song Easter egg made me really happy. It was one of the first Easter eggs I ever learned about, and it makes me happy to see he's still sneaking it in even to this day.

I think there was an extra one where there was a pipe connecting to a weird circle grass platform, and going into it would allow you to run stuck on the platform in circles in the Super Mario Bros. mushroom form, even with the costumes.

During the chorus of “Jump up, Superstar” As well as the music reference, Pauline’s dance is also a callback to her old animation. Also on the darker side of the moon, the donkey mini boss thing shows up again. Other than those, you went over basically everything. I think I will sub to you now.

At 3:48 I can not remeber exactly but it is a easter egg/ throwback to the old mario games where in either Super mario 64 or Super mario 64(Nintendo DS) if he is idle for a while he would go to sleep and say rhe exact thing.

Wow! I've always admired Odyssey's attention to detail, but you really blew my mind with some of these obscure references. Here's a few more I found that you didn't cover:
-The bassist in New Donk City plays the 25m theme from Donkey Kong if you listen carefully.
-The moons in the Mushroom Kingdom are shaped like Super Mario 64's stars, and trigger the same jingle, which is remixed both retro and new for the regular moons.
-Bowser and Peach actually got married first in Super Paper Mario.
-Mario appeared shirtless in the opening of Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.
-Jump Up, Superstar features way more Easter eggs than you mentioned, including sound effects from Donkey Kong and Super Mario Bros. The lyrics themselves are basically a throwback to Mario's entire history.
-If you approach Pauline on the Darker Side of the Moon, she'll say, "Jump, man!" She also moves her lips and dance in accordance with the lyrics.
-You'll find Pauline's collectables lying around New Donk City, and they'll make the same jingle as in Donkey Kong.
-Gold Mario's costume appeared in New Super Mario Bros. 2 when he had a Gold Flower or from the Mario statue on the title screen.
-The flowers that make Mario run really fast are likely a reference to the Dash Pepper from Super Mario Galaxy 2.
-The new music that plays for Super Mario Bros.-style airships in Super Mario Maker appears briefly in orchestral form during scenes when Bowser rides an airship, along with a brief remake of Super Mario Bros. 3's airship theme.
There's probably a lot more, but I'll leave it for the rest of the commenters, and save me from being too much of a Nintendo nerd.

Things you got to mention.
1. Mario talking in his sleep is from Mario 64 (only happens when you leave the game unpaused and uninteracted)
2. Pauline is a direct reference to Donkey Kong. (Pauline is the girl DK kidnaps and also Mario's first Girlfriend)
3. Stacking Goombas (Mario 3D land)
4. The bird in Snow Kingdom (quite obviously) is the penguin from Mario 64 and other games with said penguins in.
5. Dog with Mario is a dog from Nintendogs.
There may or may not be more easter eggs, but that's all that I picked up on.

Well I finished it from 27.10- 29.10 😂 I live in Germany and was the first one to buy it here! I’m so happy I’ve got to play this first in whole Germany!! I kinda knew these Easter eggs except the humming one! That’s awesome! I remember the Yesterday when Mario was laying down with the dog I heard him say ravioli and I died 😂. I don’t know if you said that, I probably didn’t listen 😂 but yeah I love your vids keep them up. BTW I waited 6 hours to be first........ Hell Yeah that payed out
