@@anthonythreatt3174 not the point of me presenting those stats. He can't throw short in the pocket and struggles to throw short period. He throws off balance on every throw. Stares down one receiver. Is a one read QB. Chooses to throw into triple coverage when the one read isn't open. Looks to run asap. Alabama having a complete collapse in defense later in the game has nothing to do with his QB'ing. Very rarely do NFL defenses have collapses like that. If Murray was actually as good as fans think the Giants wouldn't be drafting Haskins over him and the Jags wouldn't have agreed on a multimillion deal with Foles.
I am going to go ahead and disagree with Klatt here. I usually agree with Joel but Kyler can not distribute the ball better than Haskins. Haskins threw for 50 TDs and about 400 yards a game. Way better NFL arm and much better accuracy.

Oklahoma's Off line was the exact equivalent of any off line in the NFL today and height was never an issue. In this years draft he has the best skill set and any team with a half way decent off line will see immediate wins. This guy can really throw the rock and play the position.

Velocity is only part of what makes a fastball hard to hit. Spin rate is the main thing. If someone throwing 95 also has 2800 RPM then people will have a harder time hitting that pitch than someone throwing 99 with 2000 RPM.

Klatt is right. I saw Kyler play in high school, his touch and accuracy is elite NFL level and always has been. The right coordinator would make him an MVP. Said the same about Mahomes. People are still sleeping on Big 12 QBs and never want to evaluate these guys based off talent and just want to pick another Big 12 guy apart.

Which, Klatt is dead on. That fastball is nice to have, but even at that, it still has to move. The Slider is a great K pitch. For a good combo, watch reliever Andrew Miller. 95+MPH fastball with movement, 90MPH slider that breaks about 5 feet.

This is A+ just for Klatt & Collin going back & forth. I'm beginning to come around on Kyler. His size will always worry me because I think he's closer to 5'8" than his reported height. But what's gonna be the clenched here is his weight & specifically his bulk because he's going to get pounded. He's not walking into a stacked/loaded dysfuctional franchise. Who's roster is Taylor made for him like Baker. He's gonna end up on a ground up rebuild with a brand new coach & limited weapons to throw to. Will be interesting.

See It 2wice It was a different game back then. Teams weren’t running the spread all over the place with no huddle offenses. Everyone’s numbers are inflated because there’s 25 more plays a game. Plus, Murray plays against horrible Big 12 defenses while Vick was playing against Miami and Florida St back When Miami and Florida State were still elite teams

Colt McCoy and Brandon weeden were big dudes with arms and high completions % and did squat in the NFL, you never know so take the chance if you hit on your qb your set for 10 years
Weeden was a product of his team system, and there wasnt anything that really stood out about McCoy. Personally, I just dont think that Murray has that "thing" that you need to be a great quarterback.
