    This is a QuickBooks Desktop Tutorial on how to email invoices to your customers directly from your QuickBooks program. Using these steps will save you a lot of time in your invoicing process.
    I created this video because I noticed many people are already emailing QuickBooks invoices to their customers instead of mailing them, but MOST people are creating a PDF invoice saving it on their computer, and attaching it to an email. THIS IS A WASTE OF TIME!! Let ME show you a better way!

    Thanks for your video on sending an invoice from quickbooks. It was helpful, however, I an also looking on how to modify the body of the the sent email. Where do you go to edit the information that is included in the body? Thank you.

      Can we automate email invoices in desktop as e-commerce sales are very high we cannot send one by one is there any way to send automatically

    Hello, I appreciated your video, however do you know if it can be set up to autofill the to email address? The customers already have saved emails but I have had to go search for it, copy and paste! Thanx!

    Sorry about the double post. So how do you do it if you are using AOL as it is not listed in the choices. I have used AOL for years and all of a sudden it stopped working. At this time I am using QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2018. All my clients won't recognize my gmail address so need to get AOL email working again.

    Does this email setting make the invoice send automatically? or how do I know if the invoices will be sent automatically vs. not automatically to the customer?

      It’s not automatic, each invoice is sent individually.

    Thank you for the video i tried it and works fine using Gmail mailing address but when i tried using the company AOL mailing address didn't work, any advise please.

      Hi Abhishek, there are many email systems you can use with QuickBooks, I prefer Gmail. Here are some other options: MICROSOFT OUTLOOK 365, BELL MAIL, BELLNET, CLUB INTERNET, COGECO, COMCAST, EARTHLINK, HOTMAIL, LAPOSTE, MSN, NETSCAPE, NETZERO, ROGERS, SHAW, SKYNET, SYMPATICO, TELUS, VIDEOTRON, YAHOO

    Your video was very informative. If you are sending an invoice for a client, do you need to have their email password to send it under their name? Also, do you have to do this each time that an invoice is sent?

      Hi Tina, yes you would need to have your clients email password to send the email from their email address. I use my business email address to send invoices on behalf of my clients. There is no automated feature for sending emails that I am aware of so yes this needs to be done for each invoice.

    Great video. invoices are sorted but unable to send statements, email option appear on screen but send option is not working and no error and it's not sending. kindly assist me if you can. thanks

      Hi Shahid, can you tell me the process you are taking to produce the statement? I generally will go to the customer tab from the home screen, the create statements, then I select the customer, and select email.

      Hi there, to email multiple people an invoice click "Cc" (to the right of the "To" box)to show all people included in the email, or "Bcc" to make other receivers of the email private.

      Hi Stanley, no you do not have to re-enter your company email every time just your email password.

    Can't set up to email my invoices! I entered everything in the setup but when I hit send to actually email an invoice a screen comes up ask for password 🤬 Can you help?

      Hi David, the password that you are being asked for is the password on your email account. Can you try logging out and back into your email account to be sure you are entering the right password for the email? Please let me know if that solves your problem.
