Zen Deckbuilding Discussion for PT Amsterdam

- Just wanted to briefly go over deck building considerations and opinions

I also discuss what I would potentially bring to PT Amsterdam at the end (although I don't have enough time to test the validity of this strategy)

Also wanted to add I picked up your list last week and played zen blind into talishar. Proceeded to win my first 3 games ever on zen, and many more wins since. List and gameplan is incredibly smooth and before this video i also felt flusters were just on rate damage and didn’t really played any role. Thanks for the videos, I definitely learnt how to play zen from them.

Deck is very hard to pilot well, and takes a lot of practice

yep I do, Just because of bonds and also late game they can kill you with it

Hey, great video! I opened a marvel Zen at my local prerelease and have been playing him ever since! My first CC deck and I've been having a great time. Post bonds ban I found myself leaning more into tigers with roar of the tiger and such, but something didn't quite feel right with it.
Your list seems very consistent less clunky than my version.
Question, what is trom? Tram? I don't know that card. Thanks a lot!

When you say die roll dependent like against prism. What is the die roll that you want? You prefer first or second?
Against decks that want to setup a board like prism, DIO, kano, enigma, etc

Not saying you're wrong, but qualitatively it feels a lot better going first into prism
My personal data going first I'm 4-0
going second I'm 3-3
@@FleshAndBad the data is on Fabrary tabulated over like 500 games or something collected from online games on Talishar. Personally I’ve experienced the same results as you though.

At the time of commenting I see 68% first and second, so seems like it might not matter much
Whats your opinion on switching the following:
Spellfray Gloves -> Nullrune Gloves
MoPL -> Spellfray Tiara
Salt & Lantern are now free sideboard slots
Maintaining AB2 SV1 into Kano
or potentially only cutting salt, thus resulting in AB3 SV1 while having 1 free sb slot for other matchups?
I think these are both reasonable, you probably on average give kano like 1 - 1.5 turns longer to live
I think lynx without salt is normally only about 4 damage (either with swipe or desc to bonds)
If I wasn't running salt I would probably just use tiara, and then do AB3 sv1 w/ nullrune gloves, kasaya, lantern, and tide flippers

If fluster fist is bad as a chain ender why not just play the same list and switch those with censor?
Or is the combo count too low then?
The sound it really low overall just fyi.
I think 7 Chain-enders may be too many, I think 5 to 6 is probably around what you want just to avoid drawing multiples
I think you could definitely play censor, but I think weakest is overall a little bit stronger, I think 27 is bordering on the lower end of combo count, but probably playable
Also thanks for the feedback on the audio, still working on figuring out some of the obs/sound settings
