@@Bluecho4 Paper egg cartons. You can only use the lit though really for that technique if it has a a big rectangular piece. I know not all egg cartons look the same around the world. You can also use the egg carton to make bricks and cobble stone
One thing to consider about medieval/Tudor style homes (and, for that matter, castle walls) is that stonework was frequently plastered over and whitewashed. Both to protect the masonry from the elements, and because it looked nice. Humans have no meaningfully changed for thousands of years. We still like things to look pretty. In that vein, you could dispense with the individual bricks (especially if you can't or don't want to work with insulation foam), and use another panel of dollar store foam board for the ground level. Better yet, peel back a bit of the paper and etch brickwork into the foam, to create the illusion of plaster crumbling off and exposing the shell underneath. (For reference, though this may be harder to replicate in a build, the non-brick portions of the building would frequently be made from plaster over sections of Wattle & Daub. The latter being stripped branches woven horizontally between vertical posts, making a weave that is, when plastered, more sturdy than a simple mud wall but more easily and cheaply made than wood or stone. These panels of Wattle & Daub would be placed within a frame of wood, giving the iconic "Tudor" look.)
Brother that was an awesome one. Especially bringing in the finer details like graffiti, giving it that really life-like vibe. Man. Can’t wait to try something like this.
This turned out awesome. I've been trying to figure out how to do a better stone first floor using Leif's techniques that is stronger than just stacking and gluing bricks and I think you nailed it in this build. Looks good on the inside and out and seems a lot more rigid and stable than just the bricks alone. Probably going to steal a lot of how you did things in my next couple of buildings for my mordheim table.
I really like the graffiti. Just curious, where did you find the STL files for those windows? I’ve been looking for some Tudor style window inserts and haven’t found many that weren’t already attached to a dungeon wall of some sort
Hey Dan! I went with two options. You may have to resize a touch to fit whatever scale you are going for. 1. www.thingiverse.com/thing:2169479 2. www.thingiverse.com/thing:3654590
Hahahaha! Those Wizards are a nuisance but oh so fun! Love your take on the terrain build man! Top notch! 👍💙💛💙
Couldn't have done it without ya! 😍
Bleed one out for the fallen Jim... R.I.P.
Hahahaha! Poor Jim. He will forever be remembered.
Jim was here, but now he will never be anywhere else ever again. So sad.
Fantastic Donny, Leif would be proud. I like your little unique way of building it, looking forward to much more blue and red wizard haha.
Thanks dood! And I look forward to filming more wizard shenanigans!
The quality of your terrain builds really improved a lot! I'm a big fan of the "have fun doing it" mentality.
Thanks Keggers! Always good to improve in any craft, even better when you are having fun doing it!
Looking awesome! My favorite technique for wattle and daub texture is to use egg carton instead of a texture paste. Hail upcycling in crafting :D
Great tip! Would have never of thought of that!
Is that foam or paper egg cartons?

These look fun to play in! Photo-realism isn't the be all and end all, I'm starting to realize.
Make it look the best you can, while also making it playable. My new style going forth!
Wow... reminds me of the Undead Burg from Dark Souls 1. Pretty awesome. Hail to the Craft God!
Thanks Wolfgang! Always appreciate your comment!
Frostmordgraveheim is growing - nice work
Haha yes! All our favorite game!

Wow! What a comment! Good thing to think about for sure. Appreciate the feedback.

Thanks luminous! Just make sure to practice the graffiti first before you just go for it on the terrain build.
Wow what a great build! Currently getting into the hobby and will definitely be making a house or two like this for my table
Sick build, and great production! You're really stepping it up
Thank you Shane! Hopefully I can continue stepping up my productions for future videos!
Great terrain. I will shamelessly steal this!
Please do!!!
These pieces are definitely your strongest pieces! Outstanding work!
Thank you much! 😍
Great stuff! Always make two. Also, pro level eyeliner.
Thank you! Didn’t know I was such an eyeliner pro 🤡
This looks tempting!
Awesome job! Well done 😊👍
I love your builds. Thanks!!!
Great Build!
Looks great, bud! Keep it up!
Thanks, will do! 🤓
Just brilliant!
Thank you!
This build looks awesome! I really want to make one now.
Also, JIM WAS HERE. If I ever lose my Frostgrave apprentice or wizard, the new one will be called Jim xD
You should! I'd love to check it out!

Jooooooooooe, please steal my work! And I'm happy I gave you some ideas on how to work on these buildings!
Great work! Go Wings!!!

Great work
Nice one! What did you do with the sticky side of the floor tile?
Just covered it with some PVA and let it dry!
FYI the protruding window thing? Actually a Poo perch.
Exactly... a wizard casting a spell down on an unexpecting victim! 💩
@@DiceChatter oh my... Face palm...
Love the build, any chance to tell me please where exactly did you get the file for the windows? I could use some as well
Here you are! www.thingiverse.com/thing:3654590
Nice build! Just curious, do your neighbors ever say anything about you doing karate kicks in wizard costumes?
If they do, they don’t say it to me!
