Krispy Kreme was started not far from where I grew up in North Carolina. When my parents came to visit me when living in Kyoto, I got them Krispy Kreme donuts while waiting to pick them up at the Airport in Osaka and my Mom said "We traveled thousands of miles and you got these?"
Great haircut, and the shorter hair looks very nice. The Classic Torokko train was beautiful and the views were sugoi. Japan is so scenic. I hope to ride the train one day. Well, it is obvious that the tourist invasion in Kyoto has ended for the current year. A little more crowded the famous market place but you could eat comfortably and at prace. Quite a wonder that you could still meet some viewers. Anyhow the Troko train and its ancient interior was highlight of this video in spite there was not dark enough to enjoy fully the lightening, but the whole route was very scinic and in the end we could experience some Momiji rest together with the more visible lightening. The always inspirative Kyoto station with innovative decorations and lightening was quite impressive. The organazing team is obviously business oriented for they even managed to incorporate some adds. I only hope that you could find a seat while riding the train back to Osaka. All the Best for Christmas, just enjoy and feast it in best mood with your family and friends!!!!.

My son and I visited that restaurant when we were in Kyoto last month. I had regular shrimp tempura but my son had the beef tempura. He thought it was ok but preferred the Yakiniku style beef that we had both in Kyoto and Osaka. Thanks for all the inspiration! We watched a lot of your videos before our trip.
Kyoto is such a beautiful city. I was able to go on the Romantic Train ride for the sakura season. You definitely need to go back for it. It was an amazing ride. I did a round trip on the 5th car. I think I had to reserve it 1-2 months ahead when the date went up for reservation. I did the last train back just like you. I have so many photos and videos of the ride. The sakura trees are massive on those mountains! There's nothing quite like it.
You are the best at always looking on the bright side-despite the underwhelming illumination, the Torroko train was still such an exciting & unique adventure, and I had so much fun after two whole days of looking at dirt & dust for Oosouji. 😆 And also, thank you for the gift of seeing Kyoto Station during this sweet season. 🎄✨

When I was leaving Kyoto that was just a normal First Kitchen and the First Kitchen down the street(Daimaru-mae) had just opened with the Wendy's menu. Taco Bell opened in Osaka after I left Kyoto, was quite bummed about that and the Burger King closing.

No one behind you probably because many people took the romantic train from 1st station to 4th. Whilst you started from 4th station returning to the 1st station (at Bamboo Grove). Either way is ok. Last year I visited Bamboo Grove first for early filming (to avoid crowd), then followed by the romantic train to the 4th station.

If I lived in Japan, I would never need to deep fry anything at home. It's so easy to get great fried foods everywhere.
