Yes!!! Finally I’ve read a comment from someone who understands. The music industry couldn’t handle her high standards, wisdom and value she know that she is. For her time she was sooo wise. On her MTV Unplugged album she talked about how she was losing her mind trying to keep up with that and she just got tired. She said they called her crazy and deranged and she didn’t care bc she had peace. I just love her music.

I cry for all of them. Tragically the general consensus is “but look at all the millions of dollars they’re making” to which I say they’re selling their soul & become trapped before realizing it. Phenomenonal woman. I don't know of any other artist that has anywhere close to being able to sing and then switch to rap so fluidly. She has a God given gift. I would love for her to make more music. My opinion on the way all the songs were sang in a faster tempo. I believe she may have been given a short time slot, and being as tho she knew her fans wanted to hear all her songs, if even just a snippet. That may have been the result of them being so fast. In the end; this is just my personal opinion. Loved the performance non the less. Can't wait for her to come back to Philly. Love you Miss Hil. Bless up mi Empress
Had a chance to see Lauryn live outdoors in my city and couldn’t get thru the damn gate. So me, my wife, our twins and our unborn son jammed out on the other side of the gate. Like What, we in this piece!!!!
Emmanuel Harris One of the best artist with one of the most positive and motivating works I’ve ever heard to this day. She wrote it, she sang, she rapped it, she did backgrounds, voice overs, poetry and spoken word, played instruments and performed it. Revolutionary. And she shared herself in the music!
She is so free, untethered and incredibly talented, grounded, and an amazing performer. I'm in love and can't believe was mooning over Missy. Ty for the upload. As an immigrant kid, nobody showed me the ropes. At least my kids will know the good ones from the crap.

Phenomenonal woman. I don't know of any other artist that has anywhere close to being able to sing and then switch to rap so fluidly. She has a God given gift. I would love for her to make more music. My opinion on the way all the songs were sang in a faster tempo. I believe she may have been given a short time slot, and being as tho she knew her fans wanted to hear all her songs, if even just a snippet. That may have been the result of them being so fast. In the end; this is just my personal opinion. Loved the performance non the less. Can't wait for her to come back to Philly. Love you Miss Hil. Bless up mi Empress
