About 2:30 into the video, you start talking about extended banks. It's quite simple... you don't have to guestimate. It's simple... You have 4 diamond from the left corner to the right corner. You have 2 1/2 diamond from the left corner aim point to the same right corner... so just divide the 2 1/2 diamond by the 4 sections you have left If you are coming from the 1st diamond from the corner, aim 1/4th the distance closer to the right corner. 2.5 divided by 4 is 0.625 or 5/8ths, Every diamond you move over, you come back 5/8ths. Should be pretty good. As the cue ball gets closer to the banking rail, you'll need to adjust for the ball rolling less and coming up short.
We must be using the same firm speed on banks. I've found that, at softer or harder speeds, that .4 diamond increment that I use is no longer .4 diamonds, and it doesn't stay consistent all the way up the table.
@davidsiltz Firm and center ball is how I hit my banks unless I have to get tricky, and then there's a bit of everything involved......Great video and golden knowledge
@@HillbillyIslandLife I messed up and thought you were replying to my "banking firmly" video. That's why I was talking about the .4 diamonds stuff. For the extended banks it's totally different. Oops.
I disagree with this NOT being your best video. This video has awesome bank knowledge that isn't easily found by students of the game. These r the diamonds 💎 in the ruff that get people to the next level.........That is if they practice what ur preaching!!
No way is this my best video. My best video, clearly, is the one with the stuffed monkey toy riding a robotic vacuum. My second best video is the one with the kittens swatting miniature balls around.
Now this was a great banks video!
Thank you very much!

Just reading about all this math hurts my brain. But I will give it a try. Maybe it will work better than my current method.
@@dryclimateutah thank you!
I bank with the exact same numbers
