It's not a "pressure flow issue" that's pushing fuel back through your pressure line, and into the pipe.. It's happening because the engine is HOT and the carb is boiling fuel, creating the pressure, and pushing the fuel backwards. You're running that engine LEAN, and/or with not enough airflow through the body to cool it. Probably just lean though.. That's why the crazy power. Richen it up a bit, and the issue will stop.
An eighth scale buggy that rips wheelies is DEFINITELY fast... 👌 I have an SH 8-Port .28 in my old ass G.S. Storm, and it's out of control... 😁 The LRP ZR.30X Comp is wild in an 1/8 scale buggy also, with CRAZY top-end power. Those motors LOVE to rev.
Love your videos Mike, hey I own the Kyosho inferno neo st and want to put the lrp32x in it like you did, what do you recommend I do as far as drivetrain. Anything I can do to prevent a lot of damage?
@@nitrogas5719 I like it so far everything is in the very convenient place to work on! I'm just running into some problems with parts. I'm probably going buy a whole other Inferno just to get parts from it.
@@nitrogas5719 So parts for older Kyosho are easier to find? I was just warned that the parts support was pretty bad and I'm having a hard time just finding the center differential. Do you know a place where I can find it easier then just randomly looking online?
I love your accent!!! This video is soooo funny. I bought this engine for my Reely Overheater. What exhaust would you think is the best for this engine?
On a modified lrp 32X I highly recommend the Novarossi 9886 pipe with 41032 header. But on a stock one? I see people running Dynamite 053 pipes on stock 32's so maybe you want to give that a try
My engine came and my old hoboa cage buggy mounts did give the pull start enough clearance mike so the pull start was just touching the chassis did u change the mounts to fit the engine many thanks.
Hey bro, im thinking that self leaning issue is common, generally as the motors heat up alot so does the carb, cus be self leaning out, what you think?? Even my savage xl does that, no matter what i do. Self leans out gradually.
Keep THIS in mind folks.... One should always tune their engine when the fuel tank is down to a quarter tank or less. When the tank is full, the engine WILL be on the rich side because of the extra weight of the fuel pushing it through the line harder, AND because of the smaller area above the fuel level for the pressure line from the pipe to accumulate and push more fuel through it. When the tank gets down to a quarter or less, the engine WILL lean out due to less weight of the fuel pushing it through the fuel system and carb, and more area above the fuel level in the tank for the pressure to collect up before it pushes fuel out. A properly tuned engine WILL run slightly rich for the first half of the tank, and then lean out during the second half. IF you tune it perfectly when the tank is full it WILL be too lean for the second half of the tank.
I agree I love nitro. But were I live you cant get nitro I have to order it and Im not paying upwarda of 60 for a gallon when I used to pay like 25-30. RIP Rossi P5XL.
@daveshank1921 I hate to tell you, but your going to pay $60+ for a gallon of R/C nitro fuel WHEREVER you get it from. It's over $60 a gallon from my LHS, where it used to be $20 years ago. Edit: Nowadays I've been ordering my R/C nitro fuel from V.P. Fuels. Yep, it's about $75 a gallon for 30% nitro, but it's AWESOME, reliable fuel and my vehicles make excellent power with it. You do have to order it in bulk (at least 12 quarts at a time) but I resell a bunch to my friends every time I receive an order.
The 32 is a lot of fun and I have used it a lot lately. But compared to my other more expensive engines it just doesn't run as nice and consistent. My Alpha .28 is basicly set & forget whereas on a LRP 32X you will be adjusting the engine multiple times during the day even with the Novarossi carb conversion on it.
Love your stuff bro this is awesome
thanks man!

How about a 60mph nitro onroad car like the one in my latest video?

Believe it or not. My Inferno ST runs on a bonestock driveline and it survived both modded Alpha .28 and LRP 32X. So you'll be fine!
Nitro Mike bro you’re the man, I appreciate the feedback . One last question, what novarossi carb did you install on the lrp32? Thanks man
@@skylark350408 I have the 24069 carb on it
Dude that's awesome! Just bought an inferno 7.5! It needs some work but as soon as I get it together is going to be awesome too!
Put a .32X in it trust me it will be fine ;)

If the pullstart touches the chassis you need to get a different engine mounts or get a starterbox and sealed backplate engine

I don't know man. The pressure issue is definitely not common
True that big engine and small tank might be building to much pressure.

what the best pipe for lrp 32 and another carburetor.
Best pipe for a stock 32: Dynamite 053
Best pipe for a modded 32: Novarrosi 9886 & 41032 header

thank bro.
You need 400 tooth clutch bell then it would be fine
