I saw these guys last year in Vancouver opening for Symphony X. Had never heard them before and was thoroughly impressed. Plus Ross Jennings had just sung a song for Arjen from Ayreon on the Star One album. It’s called Prescient and is a duet with Michael Mills. The dude wearing the crazy helmet in the Everybody Dies video. They’re both soooooo good!
nice reaction man! So glad you're enjoying so much this band, it's like a hidden gem for me, always bring me joy when I listen to them! There is this song called Invasion that was my gateway to them, there are some whispering vocals that really reminds me of Maynard's from Tool, I think you'll like it.
Thanks brother! glad to see you. They are so awesome. I love it. I can’t wait to listen to more from this album, this was awesome haha. I will take a look at Invasion for sure.
Wonderful review! I saw Haken at the Brick-and-Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco in September of 2016. They were touring with another fabulous band Thank You Scientists and wow, what a show. It is an intimate venue, and the sound was fabulous. These cats are very talented. Thanks for reviewing this song.
@@MarkHWillson Hey Mark, not sure we met but it was a great show indeed. That was my first time at that venue and the intimacy was very special. Lots of great energy and interaction between the band and the crowd. Thanks for reaching out.
I saw them live in Montreal this past year, they were great. In the middle of this song, they broke out into "Owner of a Lonely Heart", which was awesome!
Good morning 😄, sunny day, convertible, turn up the volume. Hm, began like Miami Vice, turned a bit to Rocky, a scent of Linking Park and straight back into the 80s .... Love it👍👌 Greetings from Germany and parkinson's sucks and EMPPU RULES alex
One of my favourite Haken' songs! The chorus is epic indeed and the 80s vibes....(I am child of 80s). The other favourite off this album is The Architect but honestly no weak song here. Haken is a special band!
@@L33Reacts The best part is when they bring that amazing chorus back for one last time at the end, but because it is like the finale of the song they kick it up a couple notches by bringing the tempo of it way up. Also, when you said you would put $10 on there being a Frank Dicola style keyboard solo I instantly smiled and started to pull out my wallet lol
This is the official vid a lot more fun to watch and you can see them play! Just saying, you need to watch it on your own later, way better than this lyric vid. Love this song one of my fave Haken songs. I was 23 in 1985 ha. th-cam.com/video/LMQoJDWGBVs/w-d-xo.html
I loooooove this song haha!! Been with this band since their demo days dude, ‘Enter the 5th Dimension’ 🤩 I got a question for ya man: you said you had CashApp and I went and had a look, but I wonder if you have a minimum request amount? I’d like to suggest a song, it has one of my best friends on guitar and I’m trying my best to support him. They’re an Irish prog trio, independent, and the track I’d like to suggest has the one and only Derek Sherinian doing guest solos/adding all the vibes 🥵 You got a minimum requesting amount dude?? 🤔
Hey bro! I love this song too. I’ve listened to it so many times since I recorded this lol. So much fun. I usually go by my patreon tiers ( 5 dollars is the minimum to join access but it’s 10 dollars to get the monthly request) so I’d say 10 is fair for a video. I appreciate you wanting to support the channel. I look forward to hearing it!
@@L33Reacts haha, it is really good fun! This music video is pretty recent too!! 👌🏼👀 Aaah, fair enough! Tell you what, I’ll send you a C.A donation for now just to see what you make of them haha - if ya like ‘em, I’ll join your Patreon 👌🏼
Glad to see you enjoying the mighty Haken so much dude! Check out The Architect from the same album, it'd go as far as saying it's even better than 1985, the chorus riff is just simply the greatest riff I've ever heard! It's my current ringtone! Keep going bud, good work!
Thank you Paul! This was awesome. This band is so special. I love prog so much and they are just perfectly fit for me honestly :) I love it. This is a perfect ringtone! I love that idea.

That is so cool! I would love to see them. You are lucky 😩 it’s hard to go with kids. Maybe we will get lucky with a nice baby sitter one day 😂😂
Listen to Haken's Elephants Never Forget, NOW!!!!!!!!!! they released it 4h ago

Another amazing song from one of the greatest bands! This song's bridge is also one of the best imo.

The chorus is my favorite part! It’s so amazing 😂😂😂 I can’t believe there is a better one on the album. I’ll have to hear it to believe it 😎
