Watch more useful Warframe content: www.youtube.com/@TheAverageGnome?sub_confirmation=1 I forgot to clarify that when I said buying things instead of farming, I meant buying it for platinum (which is the premium currency in the game) and that will straight up give you the weapon and a weapon slot with an orokin catalyst on the weapon, but farming the weapon, you might need to buy the blueprint from the same market and build it in the foundry, sorry for not clarifying it in t he video properly.
It's been 10 years of playing Warframe. Thank you, Tenno, for the review. Yes, the community of Warframe is one of a kind, less toxic, and helps new players. ❤
No p2w No as*hole community You can play solo or co-op You can get EVERYTHING for free or tradding (which is pretty easy) Amazing story and gameplay variety Constantly updated Literally my fav game. Thanks for giving it a review!
Another note to new players worried about a 10 year old game eventually dying: Right now, there are approximately 70, 000 players concurrently playing across PC, Playstation, and Xbox. There is cross-play, and cross-save is soon to come which means you can transfer your account from one platform to another. The developers are incredibly active within the community, doing a lot of development streams, gameplay streams, and so forth. They also do regular giveaways through Twitch streams (and prime loot) which offer either rare or flashy rewards just for watching (Fashion Frame is the true endgame). Warframe is alive and well with two more huge story expansions planned for next year, already adding to the massive and awesome story. When the game first came out, I wasn't all that invested. However, with the new story stuff, I was getting goosebumps, and it actually had me invested in the characters. Finally, let's talk about microtransactions. Yes, you can bypass farming and building weapons and warframes, getting upgrades, and whatnot, but it's more to save time. It's still fairly easy to get a lot of the meta stuff, especially with help from the community. The MAJORITY of microtransactions are strictly cosmetic, purchasable with premium currency (some packs cost real money, but come with a butt load of premium currency to make up the value). On the topic of premium currency, platinum, you can buy yourself a small amount and invest in certain parts and mods, then sell them to other players to make even more platinum. The premium currency is fully tradable. You can farm prime parts and rare mods, then sell them to make pure profit, then use that platinum anywhere, thus eliminating pay to win.
I love the effect and sharing information with the community! but I have to say that in my opinion the game is not dying really, it is just sort of overwhelming for new players which is the biggest problem the game has, resulting in them leaving early which constantly leaves the player base at roughly 70k players, also keep in mind that new players will get to enjoy all the content since the game was added, and not go through the stages of the game growing slowly like OGs did!
@@TheAverageGnome Oh I know it's not dead. It's far from it. Once DE works out how to make the game more new player friendly, things will get better. I was arguing the opposite, but I've heard a few whispers that people were worried about Warframe dying, and not to worry.
@@fluffells8361 but what are you winning, warframe is not a competitive game, you are not matching/comparing yourself with other people, you are just completing the game as anyone is, Pay to win means that you are winning because you have a huge advantage against someone who isn't paying for things, which is not that true because just playing the game you will unlock the mods or you'll end farming them eventually and be as strong and besides fashion frame is actually the endgame, they just pay for cosmetics more than everything.
warframe is a one of a kind game and the community is prob. the most friendliest in modern gameing no hate no toxic behavior just tennos helping each other out
Warframe is very f2p friendly. Buying transactions do speed up your progress, but EVERYTHING (besides Excalibur Prime) can be earned through grinding. Albeit the grind is a lot, but compared to most games, it’s relatively easy to get prime gears if you know what you are doing. The game is also doing well. DE is very generous and active. The prime gaming and twitch rewards are very good. You can get free Warframe, weapons, or just customizable items. They release contents at a decent rate and the story is progressing. I see the story progression like in Destiny 2, where a new chapter/expansion pack gets released every year or two, but without the price tag.
I always hear people say "it's one of the best f2p games" then i ask them which ones are just as good or better, they never seem to find an answer. I have been looking for a long time for an equally good F2P game and i couldn't find anything that comes close. So yes it's the best.
Been playing for almost a year. I know nothing about Warframe and keep on seeing it on steam once I gave Destiny a try. Got bored of Destiny and uninstalled it. I then tried Warframe and my first thought is how weird the weird looking creatures (warframes) are in the cover. I was surprised by the entire game granted it is my 1st serious looter shooter after trying destiny. I did not expect to instantly like the combat mechanics and movement. I did not expect the unique art direction DE took. It's not a world made of typical scifi tropes. I mean they exist but somehow different. I ultimately fell in love with the game when I experienced the story, lore, and world-building. Literally one of the best games with great quest experience personally-speaking. It's also one of the few f2p games where I spent money just to support the game since I felt I'm getting more than enough. I hope Warframe will thrive in the future.
Warframe is one of the best games out, period. I am relatively new compared to some, and admit I didnt like it initially. I gave it a second chance and now it is one of my most played games. If you are thinking about it, please do it. It will reward your time spent, although it doesnt always respect it. You will have to grind and be patient to see results, but the results are obvious upgrades to your gameplay. It is best played semi daily, across many many weeks. Best time sink in gaming.
the game is fun until you get everything you will hate the repetitiveness 2400 hours and now 0% motivation to play it and there is a lot of nerfes happened on some weapon you will get upset if you knew what was it so if you want to have fun and try every thing you need 800 hours to do so
i disagrea with you on that yeah some weapon gets nerfed but others get buffed its a rotation all the time in the game and its always nice to try another weapon max them out to there full potential try another frame see how far you can go with that and always a run of trying to break the game with weapons or frames and honestly i could do that forever
I have 800+ hours yes but I also have been playing the game for 900+ days I just happen to not play too much of it, and that is the reason I am not burnt out and I don't think I will soon haha, so yes I do know about the nerfs and indeed it is upsetting but it's required for a game to be balanced, + the fun is always in finding new ways to be broken and build broken builds, and having 2400 hours I only assume that you played it everyday for a long time till you burnt out, so yeah explains the 0 motivation, but ayy there are still fun things in the game and more to come soon, so just lay it off for a while till new content comes out and hopefully you will love playing Warframe again!
Take a break then come back later man. I have 2526 hours in this game, now I just do something like testing my build, helping new players, doing giveaways,...
amazing video but some key points where missed 1 when you mention meles and wepons i would have loved you mention warframe abilitys cause it playes a magior part in the game "do you want to spam abilitys that can make you fly or make you become a tank " 2 when talking about the paied plat talking about how warframe gives you these disscounts that you can use yo buy plat for up to 25-75% cheaper would have ben nice 3 talked about how evey weapon in warframe is viable to use while some weapons you use may be better then others to not let that chance what you like because you can biuld any weapon to slay gods 4 how the game respect your time one of the bigges misses especly sence you said {DO YOU WANA GRIND well we have a shit tone of that} makes the game out to be a grind fest and nothing more while in reality farming the parts you need may take a long time but evey mission you complete you are but one step closer to getting what you want and how biulding weapons takes time to farm but once you get the weapon you set it to biuld automaticly and come back in 2 days and then you get to play with your new toy 5 cause i forgot this Platnum the premium curency that you can buy with real money can be EARNED threw the game so 0 dollars down to get free premium though all in all AMAZING video for new players and i cant wait to see all the new tenno
I agree, I did mess a bit and there is even more to cover and say about the game including what you mentioned! It is hard to mention everything if you are talking to new people, also I was planning on making a part 2 because I felt like I did not give the game justice so hopefully soon there would be a part 2 or a video to explain the game in more depth! Thanks for the comment and sharing information with new players!

Nah, there's definitely pay to win, just not in the way that matters. Because by definition, you are still paying to get ahead.@@dodgerpatrol

Seeing what the game offers for a f2p is nearly unbelievable and it is a great game, so the combo that the game provides makes it in the top!
I think you forgot to mention that you can sell stuff for premium currency to buy stuff in the premium store.
Yes that is true, I might make a part 2 just to cover the game in more detail!

2 when talking about the paied plat talking about how warframe gives you these disscounts that you can use yo buy plat for up to 25-75% cheaper would have ben nice
3 talked about how evey weapon in warframe is viable to use while some weapons you use may be better then others to not let that chance what you like because you can biuld any weapon to slay gods
