Before renovation it was better. It had more charm and was double the size. I would prefer it as it was before even if it now looks very stylish but it is like a shoebox and too small. Only the bathroom is really great for such a small place.
I much prefer the before set up. Much bigger and more options to arrange furniture. But the people were creative in trying to make a small apartment functional.
I can't imagine going up 7 flights of stairs to get to an apartment, I live on ground floor. I wouldn't want to take possessions up 7 flights of stairs.
You lost me at "climb 7 flights of stairs." I think there are some very clever uses of space here. I have seen some of these idea's in mobile tiny houses, but in those, you would have more windows to open up the space, and I think most people would go nuts not having a comfortable place to sit and read a book or watch a movie or work on their computer.
This would be a great idea for the malls that are spawling wasted spaces. Put in a homeless habitat with tiny apartments get people back on their feet.
Yes, it's functional but functional isn't always the best because the room is without any coziness to feel homely. I do not like the idea to hide everything in a closet. The room looks empty and cold with just that big white closet. I couldn't life there because of missing coziness for a home. The size of that room is ok for a single person but not on this way. Even a camper is inside far cozier as that cold and empty Apartment. Don't get me wrong, the work of that functional closet is great. The Builder did a good job but for a permanent living isn't there any coziness for a home. That functional system fits perfectly in a office or just for a short living like for travellers or students.
Lovely,i only shrieked when she climbed into the clean bed+matress with her street shoes still on.Mirrors would of been the first 4 me all across the opposite wall.
I think that this apartment is a triumph for storage, it makes it work. The before was just too small to do anything with. BUT...the 7 floors is the unworkable part. People have to be able to bring things to their apartment, and 7 floors is too much. To make it workable, an elevator must be installed.
In American cities you would have to have some sort of life safety equipment such as a smoke detector and or sirens or strobe lights in the bed of a fire the event of a means it will cost thousands of dollars to get those fire approvals and inspections and Testing for compliance
This Lady pay a lot of money to building this room? This space is looking good, but is me I will not going to pay this money for it. This room only need to build one thing is bathroom, the bed beside the bathroom. They can put foldable table on the wall, hanging jacket or coat on the wall. Is me I will do very simple way, ready they don't need to build anything.
Is a very good idea, but u have to know how to build that. U have to pay a lot of money for designing your apartment, this is difficult to build this style. Save a lot of space, u have everything you needed.
For only one person, this seems like a very good place to stay, especially in such a big city as it is Paris.

This is a nightmare... I wonder what is the profit behind living in Paris, instead of living in a village and work there...
and add to that the claustrophobic atmosphere that exists.
the before was better. Now it feels like a coffin, very depressing...
It looks like it used to be a utility closet or a bathroom.
C'est surréaliste !

I wouldn't mind 7 climbs of stairs (most days at least😂) because i'd always think that it helps me get fit and replaces running as cardio lol
Keep in mind this is paris só when he says 7 he actually means 8 by american standards
@@kairoblues9406 It would get really old really fast. Try carrying groceries up 7 flights of stairs.
groceries? and put them where? 🤣 @@annettepora8091
They lost me too at "climb 7 flights of stairs"...No way! lol
my closet - my home
🤣
I like the room more before

Where Emily Cooper ACTUALLY would have lived

Literally sleeping in a cupboard.

Bed is isolated from light & the optional air.....😅
So it's still a cupboard???
Reminds me of my first apartment in HI small but at least it's a place to live

😮 im No good at spatial relations so... its a no go 4 me.
Where's the sofa and tv?
i was waiting for a couch to appear. it's beautiful, but dang. no place I'd want to live in.
You must be spoiled 🤣
@@amandarich5561 no, jus have a family. you must be nuts
@@triplejmom7826 I was joking by the way, thats a prison cell lol
@@amandarich5561 a very pretty cell, but still a cell. glad you were joking it's hard to tell nowadays; especially with the love of tiny houses & etc.
Bf much better. Do not remodeling. Looks like a hallway.
Why is this muted?
Woudnt sleep in that cupboard if I was paid no way 👎
But imagine a lonely winter when it rains every day, you get sick with flu and God forbid, the global house arrest during the pandemic .....nightmare
How much is the rent?
I think while climbing up stair the bed head should be the other side of the stair so I won't turn my body in the tiny space clumbzily.
Price?
DEPRESSING!!!!
To live in Paris. Sounds kind of worth it
and add to that the claustrophobic atmosphere that exists.
If it like "i have only one week in Paris" pamal 😆
😂
Do we know the price for rent?
Super 👏👏👏👏👏
Ughh..not for me, thanks. That is the ugliest, most claustrophobic, depressing apartment I have ever seen.
What will be rent?
I was wondering the same thing

I really loved the idea, all spaces in one piece - You could add a sofa/bed for guests
claustrophobic environment😮
Too tiny.😢
impossible 😅😅😅😅
very good if live alone and not home much////

I love this space.
So you live in a closet and spend all day opening and closing cupboard doors good grief
Bloody awful, like living in a cat carrier.
Quite ingenious. But not for me.
Nope.
