Now this ladies and gentlemen is a wedding dress. It’s stunning, elegant and yet it did not take the attention away from Kate’s beauty. This is how a wedding dress is supposed be.
I love the dress and she carried it so well. The simplicity of the dress makes it elegant. Too many wedding gowns are way too gaudy these days or brides try to be sexy. This is what you call a classy dress worn by a classy lady.

Coco Pops This video is about her wedding dress. It was classy and her decision to wear it was a classy one as well. She could have opted to dress sexy like so many brides do but she didn't. If you were actually British you'd know why she shouldn't be looked up to. Yes the dress is classy. She could not have worn sexy clothing no way! She chose the life of a fishbowl. When Diana ran away from it. No decent girl wants to give up freedom but Kate's just plotted her way to the throne. His first choice denied him but so did others. Kate hasn't worked a day in her life. Diana did and did SO much charity work as did the queen and even princess Anne. I will never forget this morning! Woke up in the middle of the night to watch this with my college roommates and we all died when she got out of the car and saw her dress! She truly looked every inch a modern day princess. Kate was BORN for this role!

*I can remember seeing this as a kid from the Philippines, I went home from school and the Royal Wedding is being televised. I saw Kate Middleton in her gown and I was in awe, I kept on asking my mom if I'm seeing a true to life Princess. Then I saw Queen Elizabeth, our family are all glued on watching it. It was a day of pageantry, and the impact of Monarchy really resonates. Several years after that, Queen Elizabeth II delivered her message to the world in this time of pandemic, and my mom sent my Lola's (Grandmother) picture all dressed up, all of us just once again saw the Queen on TV. And every time she gets featured, it always feel magical*
She really has great taste. I can't imagine the challenging of deciding on a dress that's going to be a centerpiece for literally the most prominent wedding in the world, that you know will be watched by billions of people. But she did it (with help I'm sure)!! The dress is brilliant in its simplicity, and is just accented by lace and voila ~ elegant, classic, safe/conservative enough, yet romantic!
Honestly, at first glance I thought it was a bit plain (because of Princess Diana's dress) but over the years I think she has made the rightful choice! As time passes on, the gown looks even more beautiful because you can see every little details that was put into it and appreciate it even more. Kate looked absolutely stunning!

I think that it was probably better that she did not do a dress that was exactly like Diana‘s, because Catherine is not Diana. Certainly, any way that she went, people are going to be comparing her dress to Diana‘s, but by choosing a dress that was distinctly her own, she took her own place in history without being in imitation of Diana on her dress. Both dresses were gorgeous, but it’s nice to see that she did do her own thing on the dress.
Her gown is honestly what inspired me for my future gown. I remember seeing this moment live back when I was in 9th grade and being awed by the significance of the moment, even if I didn't quite know what that significance was at the time.
She was a gorgeous bride . Her dress was elegant and fitting for her long tall figure.

The fallen-one B: lol. 10 years was the total length of time they knew rach other before they got married. That included the 1st couple of years they were just friends, then that includes college. Who gets married in college? Moreover, it’s not an overnight decision both for William and and for Kate, since William will be King one day. I’m actually glad they did not get married just after one year. They actually know each other.
What’s also more important is that they are still together and they have a wonderful family now. 😉

Yes every so often I come back to this video because I can feel the love and energy. Kate is good at being conservative and modest but underneath she had to feel like the most luckiest happiest person on Earth that after years of hoping and praying and being strung along by such a famous person on the world stage he finally stoped with the excuses and made her his wife.
