As an old guy, 60 yrs old, this is the first band in decades I listen to on almost a daily basis. They have that magic, that intangible quality that you cannot describe. It is like the great bands of olde time. Yet new.
62 here...and I know exactly what you mean. Its the feeling for music that has been missing for such a long time. Each generation from the 50's to today, has been drawn in to Band Maid. I discovered their music January 2021 and its been an everyday ritual of turning up the jams at least once a day. I havent felt this way about a band since the 60's, early 70's. Im not dissing any music from anyone.... but Band Maid is very special and unique. You never know what their next song will sound like but you know it will be great. No other Band can do that.
Since 70's I got into Jeff Beck ect. And I've been hooked on Band Maid for like 6mos. And thought I'd heard most of their songs until Pulse. Man the intro is good and the guitar solo was different than usual. New sound totally awesome 😌

I wonder if you could help this two avoid a strike and advise them (iff you are able to, perhaps you could use some kind of a medium) on what Baby Metal is safe to play. @Stephen Chigwidden I'm happy to report that I got better. : ) As far as which videos are safe to react to, I really wish I could offer some good advice, but it's a very fluid situation. For a long time the official music video for 'Megitsune' would get blocked worldwide whenever it was reacted to. In the last couple of weeks a few people reacted to it without any issues. Now it seems like it's getting blocked again. Or that might be because that one reacter is currently based in Japan. Really the only safe way to react to Japanese music on TH-cam is by using the "link & sync" method. For anyone that doesn't know what that is, the reacter needs to film their reaction, but NOT include any audio or video of the original video. Instead, they provide a link to that video. People watching the channel will need to open a second window with the original video. It helps if there's a countdown (3, 2, 1, Play!) so that we can start that other video at the same time they do in their reaction. Since there is no copyrighted material embedded in the reaction video, there is nothing that triggers a copyright strike or block. It's more difficult for smart phone users, but if you Google for it, there are methods for every major platform to play two TH-cam videos at once.
I've had a Band Maid crush for about 2 years now. I think it's gotten worse since I found them. Just a fantastic band. I gravitate toward the harder side like Order, Thrill, Fate and Dice but Puzzle and another song, Alone, which is the first song they completely did "alone" rank very high on my top 50 Band Maid favorites. Band Maid, just released a live version from February 14th of this year. Of their song Domination. Performed in Japan earlier this year. It is & incredible-live-performance. I know how much you guys love the band. And you haven't reacted to them in a while. I think this performance and song is right up your alley. Haven't seen you do any Band Maid reactions lately. There is a great acoustic version of this song. Followed up by another one. It's like a two Song acoustic set. They really should be reacted to together. The two songs together are roughly 12 minutes long or so. But such powerful emotional performance. And showing these ladies in a different light. I love this band , someone suggested the songs are the same..hell yeah they are all awesome. I told him after that to get his hearing checked cause the musicianship varies from song to song and even a savage like me can hear all the variations (LOL)!!! Great reaction! I wanted to give you two props as my favorite reactors. Please bear with me if my comment becomes a bit lengthy. I generally comment on occasion here and there. And what usually draws my interest is the familiar tunes of my youth which basically run from the mid to late 70's into the early 80's of classic rock and Heavy Metal. In fact I think it was via Iron Maiden that delivered me into your realm and the tune was my personal favorite track Phantom of the Opera. Well lets say I find it impossible to pass on a Phantom of the Opera reaction. Luckily I saw that there was one just posted 20 mins beforehand and needless to say it was your channel with your reaction. And it was an excellent reaction and had to subscribe hoping that it would lead to more of the same, and it still remains excellent. From my previous experience with bands like Maiden or other Metal of that era you find a variation reaction channels. Ranging from at worst the opportunists that are seeking to tap into the large pool of maiden fans to at best a young person discovering Maiden for the first time and recognizing that genuine look that you saw when you shared that new tune with a friend and were rewarded with the payoff of a shared experience. You cannot fake what that sensation of being jolted.Those are the magic moments and are the reminders of the immeasurable value of music. I was presently surprised to find two individuals which I believe were in my peer group i assume. I'm 49 years old so it appears that Rich and I have traveled a relatively similar path of musical influences. And I find it enjoyable when music that has impacted you is shared to someone for the first time. And that's the same payoff when Kel receives it for the first time. It becomes similar as what was mentioned above when sharing with a good friend. I found that it has music that has been singular bond that has lasted and held with my long held friendships. With that said, It has been very rare to find anything in recent years that could match or even approach surge of pure magic which could match that music of that time. Sure from time to time you would find something which was good enough to make the B-side to the background of your life soundtrack.(for those of youth, who may be able to relate to A-side & B-side reference. Believe it or not music came in various formats which had two sides, unless you unfortunately adopted that progressive 8-track cassette format and the cool features it provided such as the push button feature that allowed you to skip ahead 3 tracks a time which make it a virtual guarantee the player would chew up the tape; cant imagine why it did not stick). I had become content with the idea that maybe it was just me that had lost the ability to experience music like that again and it must be part of the aging process. You know the narrative of the older person who totally cannot relate or understand the appeal of the music of the youth. And the tired belief and saying of they do not make them like they used to. I would wonder did I lose my sense of musical taste and cannot see the appeal of what is pushed out there. They are labeling and presenting it as music which you would assume has risen up through all the noise to break through as obviously evident that it has the required mojo or the It factor that makes it the cream of the crop. Evidently the rigorous vetting process which bands had to travel through has become non-existent. I had to buy into that it must be me who has lost my calibration and my musical my perspective had become jaded. Or is it that I must reach to the conclusion that bands of today just suck! Well let me say I never thought I would discover something that would blast me in the same way that Iron Maiden did. And Ironically its was a band of other MAIDENS that would do the trick. Those Band-Maidens have tapped that magic in such a masterful way and has me sucked into a hyper Black Hole into another universe which I do not want to escape. I believe it has made the same impression to and everyone else who has encountered there music. I just would like to urge you to revisit these incredible top notch musical maidens. They have large catalog of tracks yet to be tapped into. I have to say I particularly enjoy your Band-Maid reactions because I find them sincerely genuine and it mirrors my exact sentiments. It truly does provide an extra level of enjoyment when it is in a shared format. As mentioned earlier I can't think of a better gift than when sharing Music. And even more so when experienced with one for the first time. That truly becomes a priceless experience. I better stop here before this becomes a book length comment. Keep up the good work. Great video yet again. As to copyright strikes (I am no expert but my understanding is that the Japanese Music industry not individual groups are the culprits) - they seem to come in waves. Reactors can go for months without any warnings then *BAM* several strikes in a short space of time. Some channels have been shut down suddenly. Again, I am no expert and I am happy for others to correct me, but just be aware. The strikes seem to me to mainly target new official songs by a band. Hope you avoid all this as I am enjoying your reactions since subscribing.
I think the only things the band's management seems to jump on is stuff they must consider unflattering to the band, like rehearsals, very early live shows, and pre-Band Maid music. They seem to hit those pretty fast. I know of a couple channels that disappeared without a trace with those sort of things on them.

Great video yet again. As to copyright strikes (I am no expert but my understanding is that the Japanese Music industry not individual groups are the culprits) - they seem to come in waves. Reactors can go for months without any warnings then *BAM* several strikes in a short space of time. Some channels have been shut down suddenly. Again, I am no expert and I am happy for others to correct me, but just be aware. The strikes seem to me to mainly target new official songs by a band. Hope you avoid all this as I am enjoying your reactions since subscribing.
I think the only things the band's management seems to jump on is stuff they must consider unflattering to the band, like rehearsals, very early live shows, and pre-Band Maid music. They seem to hit those pretty fast. I know of a couple channels that disappeared without a trace with those sort of things on them.
