@@jaydnp. thanks heaps for the info man appreciate it, yeah I’d go with 29s I reckon just to avoid any issues I want it to last a fair while, do you have Instagram or anything?
I could never wrap my mind around a RHD setup. Shifting with my left hand and making turns and staying in the proper lane, I'd kill someone. I enjoy my 1998 Sidekick Sport with a swapped in J23 motor and automatic LHD here in the US and my 92 Samurai on 36" swampers and Toyota axles for hardcore stuff. Hasn't been the same since Suzuki pulled out of the USA.
far out those tyres look neat. Im looking at putting some 30.5 by 9.2s on my suzuki with a 2 inch lift. hopefully being slightly skinnier they will fit alright and hopefully tuck up into the guards in the rear with stock rims
@@jaydnp. ill find out soon. 😅🤣 its a trail rig anyway. It travels at most 100 kms a month. 🤣 with regards to rear suspension, you can use a gen 1 fortuner for longer travel. Im not sure if its a 22 or 24 inch travel shock. 😊
@@jaydnp. should be good! 😊 you can actually also use the fortuner springs. I think its a 2.5 or 3 inch lift. Springs can be used front and rear. Shocks only rear due to the strut front. 😊
Have you guys ever heard about balancing beads? I ran them in a set of older military tires, known for being out of round and shakey and they were amazing after beads were dumped in them
Do the ramps have the same welds as the cargo rack box on the rear? 😂
Gday mate nice choice just wondering where to managed to get some brand new simex centipedes here in Australia thanks
They don't sell them in aus anymore unfortunately
@@jaydnp. yeah righto I knew they weren’t but was wondering if they had started selling them again somewhere so anyway thanks mate
Do 31s rub on any stock fender walls or body when full lock or off-roading, or do cuts have to be made?
Full lock rubs on the chassis rail and rear scrubs if you don't set bump stops to suit
@@jaydnp. cheers the reply jaydn, do you reckon it’s smarter going either 29s or 30s just to avoid any troubles?
@@_kyranking_ if your vitara is IFS, definitely 29s as you'll find the front shafts/diff become a weak point

Sounds awesome mate!
does the j23 go hard? i have a j20 and once your bouncing off the limiter its got some power but am looking at a j23

It shouldn't rub with stock rims
I went with a 6 inch on my vitara. Negative 50 offset. :) Simex tires are usually 1 inch higher than what is written.
Neg 50 offset god dam! Your wheel bearings must love that haha

Yes we have, didn't need them as these tyres balanced up okay
Very nice...
Did you get that suspension kit in Australia or online
From zook offroad
Cheers
Hey guys, how much lift do you need to fit 30s or 31s?
2 inch at a minimum with set bumpstops
