    Thank you. This has been on my to do list for awhile but not until your video do I finally have clear steps to creating this flow. You mentioned that the custom fields you created could be hidden once set up. Do I just deselect visibility checkbox for each of the profiles?

    • @21Knots
      @21Knots  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is correct. Removing visibility from each profile should do the trick!

    Very nice video on Birthday greetings automatically - explanation. I have a question. In case if we only take input of birthday as MM/DD only. How can we do that?

    Thank you for making this video - it was extremely helpful! One question, is there a way to record the email sent from the Flow in the activity history for the account/client?

      @21Knots  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad it is helpful! You can use Einstein Activity Capture to view in activity history. Take a look at the following article: help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.email_enable_email_tracking.htm&type=5

    What if you're not given the option to make a public link of your image in the files page? I've got my flow just about nailed down but can't get my happy birthday image in there

    What if I have email in different custom page layout and not in Contact Layout? Can this work and is yes, how can I do so?

    Great video! But, I have a question, why do we not using email alert from workflow and attach it in action elements instead?

      Yes you can. Take a look at the following article: help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=sf.livemessage_automatic_notifications_flows.htm&type=5

    Great video. I thought I followed everything in your video. I do not have a debug to canvas option. Just Debug. Before I get to the debugging phase I receive two warnings:
    These issues don't prevent activation, but can cause problems when you run the flow.
    For a schedule-triggered flow, specify the default workflow user in your org’s process automation settings.
    Send_Happy_Birthday_to_matched_contacts (Action) - Because the Automated Process User has no email address, this flow can’t send emails for actions or errors. Enter an email address for the Automated Process User on the Process Automation Settings page in Setup.
    Under the Send Email section, the last two lines say:
    Outputs
    None.
    Do you know how to fix?

      Nevermind. I figured it out. I needed to go to Process Automation Settings - Put myself in as the default workflow user and enter an email address. When I did that the flow worked beautifully.

    When I receive the email it is showing up as plain text due to the img any suggestions on how to fix the issue? I copied and pasted the public link into the text template email.

      In your Send Email action, ensure the "Rich-Text-Formatted Body" toggle is switched on.

    Here you have same account name and 3 contacts with same e-mail address.
    So I want to send birthday wish to only one email who have Same account name but different emails.
    If we have same account name then only one contact should get birthday email. Not all. How can we do this?

    • @21Knots
      @21Knots  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Omer. I'm not sure I understand your question. The birthday is set at the Contact level. Whenever the trigger detects a birthday that falls TODAY(), is sends the greeting to the email address that is on that contact's record.

    Probably Limit Exceeded or 0 recipients

    • @suelipsey7143

      I believe this is going to max out if you have too many recipients in a single day. You need to bulkify the email send somehow.
