The flight, flying to taveuni island, on a small plane, was alot of fun, espically the landing in savusavu, before flying to taveuni island.. the landing in savusavu wow, very scary landing for sure.
Hello Eric! Isn't that view of all the islands spectacular from the air!?! I had never seen anything like that in all of my travels. The wee planes are definitely a memorable experience. LOL! Hello@@runforrestrun2428! Thank you for watching. 🙂We travelled to Fiji in May 2022 when things were just reopening for International travel. For current flight costs between Nadi and Taveuni I would recommend checking Fiji Airways' website. For our one night in Nadi we stayed at First Landing Beach Resort and Villas which was very comfortable (we booked one of the places with a private pool as a treat to ourselves). Around Taveuni we only stayed in the accommodation mentioned in the video. It depends on what sort of adventure you are looking for. We did: Dive Academy Fiji in Viani Bay for diving, Maqai Beach Eco Surf Resort on Qamea Island for surfing, and Coconut Grove Beachfront Cottages in Matei for hiking and spending time in local villages/towns (it's also across the street from the airport, so very convenient). The first two places are more isolated, so we recommend taking advantage of their full meal plans. The food was exceptional! We're still dreaming about it! Fiji is one of the most special countries that we have ever visited, and we travel quite a bit. We would go back in a heartbeat! Have a fantastic trip!!! Yaz

@@runforrestrun2428 it looks divine! We flew straight to Taveuni after our flight from LAX. We were nervous about missing our flight out of Nadi on the way home so spent a night in Nadi before we left. Oh my gosh, you'll have a blast on Taveuni.
Wonderful scenery and lots of fun. I especially liked the white-haired actress.

Mito lucky, it is direct flight to LA to nadi, before along time ago, you had a 3 hour lay over ,in Hawaii, that was horrible waiting around, better having a direct flight..
