Very special guest today, thanks Eddie for being a good sport and sending your crocs up for repair! Let me know who else we should have on the channel!
Great guest choice! The Beast! And excellent work, Dan. Gotta get Brian Shaw on the channel, too! Would love to see you work on a pair of/describe the difference of a true pair of Olympic Weightlifting shoes!
The reason most people don't repair shoes like this is that it usually costs the same or more than a new pair. The unfortunate thing is that shoes that are easier and worth repairing are pricey. It was really cool to see the process of how it works.
@@jesseward6938 I was more coming from a place where the whole footwear is one whole rubber item. I didn't think it was possible to do it like he does on a normal leather shoe where you can see there are different parts.
I have been replacing my crocs every year ,for the last 10yrs as I wear them every day working from home and they turn into slicks in that year(dangerous in winter) but, now I have options to have new soles 👏👏👏 Great video Dan 🎉
As a croc aficionado (I have CRPS which is an autoimmune disease and I have trouble putting regular shoes on now and feel pain from regular shoes) I’m loving this.I have croc boots, furry winter crocs and summer crocs and I didn’t know toy could resole them!!
That replacement sole costs more than the shoe. Add Dan's wage on top and you can probably buy every Crock in your collection. But a super fun project to watch.
Great job Dan as always. As much as I enjoy the cobbler side of the business, I always enjoy the personal touch when you offer a segment that includes your car! Keep up the great work!
Those were some dirty Crocs, and I was quite surprised how well they turned out. Crocs needs to design a pair just for Eddie based off of your repair. This was fantastic.
Crocs makes multiple pairs of Crocs with actual rubber 'sneaker' type tread on the bottom. I have a pair worn daily around the house. I got these specifically because of the sole on bottom has real tread & traction, unlike the regular version that's very slippery on water especially when worn smoother like these ones. Also has nice Velcro adjustable '4x4' heel straps(would've been better for this customer?) so you can get the heel fit correctly. Nice to see these brought back & upgraded, I really like that sole tread, looks very grippy. 👌🏻👍🏻
I wear a US size 15 in Crocs and have to replace them every couple of years. One thing I've noticed is that the sizing is inconsistent because they're made in in multiple countries now. Fortunately heating or cooling them lets you adjust the size a little bit and it makes for a nice snug fit. Probably my favorite thing about Crocs is that the insole shapes to your foot over time and makes them real comfortable.
I can fully understand the retreading of sentimentally attached Crocs. I have gone "a over t" many times on my slick Crocs. I never thought it was possible to restore until now.
I came to this video with a skeptical attitude, wondering what one could actually do to fix up a nappy old pair of crocs. I left delighted and informed. Thank you!
Great video as always, I have some Timberland boots in the traditional colour, they are still in great condition but faded😢, I’d be grateful if you could suggest what to use to get them back to their former glory. Many thanks Kelly
Wow. I started a new job last week and a guy who is training me looks just like Eddie Hall. I told him that! And bang. I am watching a cobbler repair the Beasts crocs, lol. PS. not just any cobbler. But Dan the man.
LOL! I like how you treated a piece of injection molded foam as if it was a shoe worth any consideration. They cost bugger all, so I'm sure the Saphir cream you put on them doubled their value. That said: Crocks are my favorite home slippers. They are so soft and comfy for walking around the house.
Videos and cobblers like this are the reason I am attempting to save my manufacturer specified "non repairable" boots. No professionals want to touch them, understandably, but I will attempt a novice at home resole myself. 🤞
You should've done a proper leather strap with rivets! Cmon man! It was open for the taking!! custom crocs lmao. Always loved Eddie Hall. Thanks for the video you two. The Brons really needed a sole swap, but the vibrams will do!
Resoling Crocks?! 😲 I never thought I'd live to see that. Personally, I am not convinced it is worth it (I value the repair job much higher than buying a new pair), but hey, whatever anyone likes is not my business. Surely, yet another job well done, Dan! 😎
Translation back to English of what you wrote here, is pretty much exactly what was said. Engaging these useful strap is said to put the boot in 'sport mode' or '4x4 mode' and in this video it was said to be 4x4 which is the four-wheel drive in your comment. AI did good.
so when is the workout collab coming? maybe make it a leg day? its aways great to watch a youtube person barely be able to walk after the worst of all workouts possible, but that said you are really hitting the big times now! congrats on a collab!
While yes this process could've just bought 20 pairs of Crocs, he obviously has an emotional attachment to them and when money is no concern he can do whatever he wants with them.
Omg i never thought i could get my crocs resoled! Ii work in aquatics so use them daily but they do wear down and through. This might be a game changer.
Ooooh mate, you reminded me to order my Christmas meat from Musclefood! The crocs looked great after you’d finished with them, but you wouldn’t catch me in them. My kids said the things that go on them are called Jibbitz! 👌🏻
Hi Dan, do you stock Angelus products (I heard you mention them) ? If not any ideas on a good UK supplier, I do trainer restoration and really like their dyes, paints and mediums.
Hey Dan, I’m in Australia but I have an awesome pair of adidas high tops I’d love restored. They’re an original pair of Jeremy Scott Wings, but the heels and soles are just about burned out. I really love these things and would love them to be like new again. PS my wife hates them so I make sure to wear them everywhere when we go out together because people always comment and compliment them.
Hi, Dan, hope you are well. If you thought Eddie Hall's feet are large, as of 2024, the man with the largest feet is 22-year-old Jeison Orlando Rodríguez Hernández, of Venezuela, I believe. His feet measure 40.55 cm (1.33 ft) and 40.47 cm (1.32 ft). He stands @ 8'3".

David Dickinson 😃
Too much. Follow both channels. Great matchup.
@Dan_the_cobbler maybe have editor blur out Eddie's address where he opens the box at 18 m 24 s
One of these days I need to send you my cowboy boots to fix them.
The collaboration I never thought I'd see, and I'm here for every second of it.
collabs are better content !! :D havent visited for a while if he keep on doing collabs ill subscribe
Dan and Eddie collab I never expected it
Yet here we are! 💪🏻
Don't be silly. Eddie's like dog poop he gets everywhere, lol
I like that you are repairing and upgrading something that is meant to be disposable.
Restoring & resoling Crocs? I have officially seen everything...
am I the only one who thought that you can't repair footwear like this.
this is incredible

Brilliant collaboration - hats off to you both!
Love seeing a man exercising his craft. You're the best. Enjoy every episode
Absolutely brilliant vid Dan, and work. Eddy always comes across as real human, a proper decent bloke
Another kickass video Dan! Super cool collab. And those eyes on the crocodiles shoes were cool as hell!!
As a maker and hand bag restorer, I am fascinated with your techniques and the products/glues you use!!
I like seeing different types of footwear. All terrain Crocs were delightful.
Wow, fantastic job! Loved seeing the colab, awesome stuff gents, thank you!
Hi dan super vidéo et restauration comme toujours continue comme ça t est le meilleur 🇨🇵🇬🇧❤
Two of my favourites in one video! Love this video!!
Always excited for a new Dan the Cobbler video!! You never disappoint 👏🏻👏🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻💪🏻💪🏻😊😊
Thanks a million Kristen!
Great job Dan as always. As much as I enjoy the cobbler side of the business, I always enjoy the personal touch when you offer a segment that includes your car! Keep up the great work!
I don’t think Crocs ever looked so good. Cheers! 👍🍻😊

Excellent video Dan. Always a pleasure to see what you're getting up to over there in Tring.😃👍
would have never expected you could resole crocs! great work!

Those turned out great
No Crocs in the WORLD have been treated better! Kool collaboration
This is pretty cool. I watch a lot of Eddie's videos and to see him on Dan's channel is really cool.
Really impressed with that. Great video! 👍🏽
you should do some indept videos on how the machines all work
Thanks Dan, nice to see you, keep up the good work.
Awesome. Eddie needs to highlight this on his channel.
I can fully understand the retreading of sentimentally attached Crocs. I have gone "a over t" many times on my slick Crocs. I never thought it was possible to restore until now.
Who would have ever thought, Eddie featuring on Dan's channel ❤ amazing work buddy
Great job Dan crocs back to better than new also a great refresh to the trainers ❤
16:50 😂 way to go Ron!
I'd love to do this all day everyday, but man it take some skill. Keep up the great work Dan!

Not sure why this was my suggested video at 0255hrs on a Wednesday but I'm here for it.
Brilliant, amazing job who would have thought you could fix crocs.
Tom Stoltman UK is the current world's strongest man 2024! 3 times world strongest! Mitchell Hooper isn't currently 👍
Who can keep up 🤷♂️😅
@@Dan_the_cobbler love your work though mate! No biggie! 👍
Eddie and Dan collab was not in my 2024 bingo card
I didn't think you could make crocs look that good, Dan! Well done, lad.
I love Eddie Hall! And I am extremely impressed.
Can't believe how well the crocs went Great Job!
Good work as usual Dan!💪🏼
Also just to say I’ve bought Saphir cream from you in the past and the price and delivery were spot on!👌🏼
Eddie meets Dan, never thought I'd see this crossover. :D
Those came out super sick
I'm cobbler to just started been a year now and had great reviews and happy customers

Hey Dan! Great content as always . Was wondering how/where one can also get new Croc heal straps?
Videos and cobblers like this are the reason I am attempting to save my manufacturer specified "non repairable" boots. No professionals want to touch them, understandably, but I will attempt a novice at home resole myself. 🤞
I thought this was gonna be a joke but you really did it!😀
this guy is very professionell, a sight seen rarely these days on youtube.
Great collaboration man, congratz.
I guess for most of us, unless there is an emotional attachment, new crocs would be cheaper.
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing! Because let’s face it, who doesn’t like getting new shoes!
Not necessarily. Technically the cheapest option would be to just do what Dan did but do it yourself and on a tighter budget.
You should've done a proper leather strap with rivets! Cmon man! It was open for the taking!! custom crocs lmao. Always loved Eddie Hall. Thanks for the video you two. The Brons really needed a sole swap, but the vibrams will do!
Hello Dan
Dang is there not any sho you cant repair, you have skills.

I love the pre work out and whey! Next order I will use your discount!

I can't have been the only person screaming "just buy a new pair of crocs" at the computer at 8a, right?
While yes this process could've just bought 20 pairs of Crocs, he obviously has an emotional attachment to them and when money is no concern he can do whatever he wants with them.
Custom crocs are much cooler than normal crocs
So cool my favorite cobbler and strongest man ive only found your channel a week ago and you've got Eddie on the channel so cool
Interesting and fun episode
i have to say, i didnt know how you were going to pull it off, but you did! like always
Glad you appreciate it man
Those must be the World's Strongest Crocs.
When I see the foam, I'm in the zone!!!
Thank you for the video
Who cares what he's mending, he's gorgeous... But I never knew that crocs could be repaired, brilliant job Dan.
Just reaching out to say keep going and all the best 👊🏽
Top stuff!
Those came out awesome !!! Way better grip !!!
What sole is that? I’ve been looking for something like this. Love the content.
Wow! Ron is very strong!
Excellent job!
Did not think crocs were repairable
Omg i never thought i could get my crocs resoled! Ii work in aquatics so use them daily but they do wear down and through. This might be a game changer.
I love that he got bullied into using the original glue song after he tried changing it lol
Brilliant as always 👍🏻🇬🇧
A New sand belt for that size of a shoe..I would've done the same thing. Love the Channel.
Great video mate, the BEAST always makes me laugh
Bloody nice job mate
Thanks Dan ❤!!!!
Eddie's t-shirt 🔥🔥🔥
Ooooh mate, you reminded me to order my Christmas meat from Musclefood! The crocs looked great after you’d finished with them, but you wouldn’t catch me in them. My kids said the things that go on them are called Jibbitz! 👌🏻
Haircut suits you, Dan. You look good!

PS my wife hates them so I make sure to wear them everywhere when we go out together because people always comment and compliment them.
Thank you
Nice beast jibbitz, man
Crocs are about $20 on Amazon. How much is the repair?
Dan the cobbler fixes Eddie the Hobbler's shoes ;) hee hee!!!
Great job
