Your videos are great, I love watching you paint without talking. I can soak it all into my mind without thinking.

Hi Marcel. Could you please let me know if that’s a magnifying glass you’re using, and if so how that assists in creating your incredible painting. Many thanks

Hi There, Thank you :). There are sometimes details in a painting I prefer to see up close to get a more clear picture of what im doing. Specifically in smaller areas that matter most for instance in the eye pupil which can really make or break a portrait painting. At least that always seems to helps me.

Thank you for sharing! How much time does it take to paint such a piece, both in actual painting time and overall time from start to finish? Do you make the panels yourself, or do you buy them ready to use?

Hi there, good question :), Well it is a matter of going to the construction store (coincidence im planning on doing today ). I'll first consider what to paint. Then I need to figure out the size it needs to be. Then I'll let the construction store do the cutting. This can be MDF or hardboard. The grounding is a simple alkyd wood primer. This is for me the most stable solution which is very cheap. All work is approx three weeks total progress depending on the size.

U painted this painting wet on wet or u did with layers ? First layer dry then second ?

Hi There, I use mostly 2 or 3 layers to complete the painting. And the layer is totaly dry before over painting it. I also use more transparent paints in the last layers..

Hi there, Thank you :). These fast videos are not really for education but only for a high overview :). But if you see my following videosth-cam.com/video/jjUmon2LrLo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=shakLTlE6EdZvwNy I go in more detail. I also have another full tutorial out there :). Good luck.
