Only the Salvation Army persisted and most of their Churches affected too. Woke opinions crept into Bishops lives and some made awful sweeping statements, but instead of resigning from mainstream Christianity, they stayed with intention of infecting others. Victoria would have booted them out. There was no apartheid in Britain by the way. All were made welcome. But a ship turns gradually. Although parents complained to schools, and left Woke Churches to worship elsewhere, the Vicars/Priests turned a blind eye.
