@@AHUMANCORPSE Completely agree! Swapped my PS2 for a Dreamcast one weekend so I could play RECV! Such a fun time and my first exposure to the Dreamcast! Graphics were amazing for the time! Appreciate the comment!
When I bought my PS2 I got GTA3 and RE:CVX at the same time. I totally missed the Dreamcast version at the time, but the game was and still is fantastic! That was the version that had a demo packed in for the original Devil May Cry!
@kevinreiter5303 Two great games to break in your PS2! The PS2 version of RE: CVX had the additional Wesker story cutscenes which were a nice touch! Forgot about the Devil May Cry pack-in. Fun fact: DMC started off as Resident Evil 4, but Capcom thought it diverted too much from the RE formula, which I agree, so they went back to the drawing board!
I'm not sure I knew that DMC was the original idea for RE4@@endgamearcade ! Was that also then prior to the airship/zeppelin/hookman RE4 build that was scrapped? In any case, I wouldn't cry if RE:CV Remaster/Remake was one of Capcom's next projects!
This is a great game! I hope more people decide to give it a chance! Strong #2 on my list of Resident Evil games, right behind Resident Evil 2 Remake! The story is just too good. Best version is the PS2 Code Veronica X

@problemsolvedwitheric The Ashford twins are definitely twisted! Like @Dantron69k says there is a terrific layered story with this one! Worth checking it out for sure!
@@dantron69k100% agree! People should try it on either Dreamcast or PS2 as there are some extras on the PS2 version! It has also been ported to modern consoles, so no excuse not to give it a shot! Great game!

Was THE reason to buy a Dreamcast back in the day. Coming off RE2 and RE3 I was so excited for this game! Definitely deserves a proper remake.
