The people of Thailand work so hard, not much profit, so much ingredients involved and only 20 Baht, next time I am there I will go and try (looks delicious) will leave a tip also as 20B just doesn't sound right. Thanks Som, another great video!
@thomasr53 - I made the same comment! The lady is working way too hard for just 20 baht or 57 cents. She should raise the price to 35 baht or $1 USD. This is still affordable and she will almost double her revenue!
Your right Kevin but I think the problem is, competition, I believe there are other vendors selling also at 20B, so, I guess she has to be competitive, would be interesting to see if she put it up would the others follow but it's a risk but certainly, Im like you, I would be prepared to pay more@@kevinp8108

Well that could be a real big problem for moi. Pad Thai, more particularly Pad Woon Sen I am addicted to...seriously great find Som and a great cross reference from Jonny. I was already sold on HH now this bonus for a daily lunch...HH keeps getting better. A perfect find well done Som!

Looks yummy, but i would never use an aluminium wok and a metal spatula/spoon. If need to use aluminium wok at least use a wooden spoon.
The wok is very well seasoned :-)

Question1 - What oil do most Thai's use to cook - Question2 - What oil did Thai's cook with before Western oils were introduced? i cook with Olive oil, Coconut oil and sometimes add butter to either of the other 2 oils, i never use blended oils, don't know whats in them, Canola oil is allegedly NOT good for us.
