This revolutionary striker-fired 9mm pistol offers the perfect balance of capacity and concealment with unrivaled shootability and ergonomics. The P365’s patent-pending, narrow-neck, modified double-stack magazine holds 10 rounds in both the flush-fit and extended versions, plus one in the chamber, for a full capacity of 11 rounds - nearly a 50 percent capacity increase over pistols in its class. An optional 12-round extended magazine equips this micro-compact pistol with full-size 13-round capacity, allowing you to carry more, everyday - 365 days a year. The P365 is also smaller and lighter than most other pistols in its class, measuring 1-inch wide, 5.8-inches long, and 4.3-inches tall with a barrel length of 3.1-inches. The unique grip design and higher grip to bore axis reduces perceived recoil and makes the P365 as comfortable to shoot as many mid-sized pistols. The grip is fully-textured polymer with a slim-line rail that will accommodate SIG light or laser accessories. The stainless-steel slide comes standard with front and rear serrations for easier slide manipulation, as well as SIGLITE® night sights for faster sight acquisition under all lighting conditions.

Disassembly is safe and easy with a three-point takedown that does not require the trigger to be pulled. A generous trigger guard undercut also allows for a higher hand position and better retention. The narrowing magazine design allows the upper part of the grip to be perfectly contoured to fit the shooter’s thumb when fired.

For everyone complaining about the proprietary rail. The S&W Shield and Glock 43 don't even have a rail. The XDS does but almost nothing is small enough to actually fit on it. In this size of a pistol not many accessories fit standard rails anyway. If a proprietary system is a better mounting solution it should lead to more available accessories.

Yeah in a full size that would be a dumb decision since there's already lots of accessories that should fit. In this size it's kinda irrelevant since there aren't any lights that even fit this size frame yet and the direct competition doesn't even have a rail. I'll be interested to see what light type accessory Sig ends up making for it. If it's at least 100-150 lumens and around $150 or less I think they'll have a winner. Assuming light compatible holsters are available. I really like lights on a carry pistol but nothing in that size actually fits a light and even if it did the holster would have to be custom. I'm definitely going to follow this product and see how it performs after it's more available.
Chris K That's not a rail. Notice the lack of cross slot. It's cosmetic only to look like the larger M&P.

A smarter approach might be to design a pistol that accepts existing solutions, like guard-mounted Crimson trace products. As it is, we have to wait to see what solution Sig cooks up and who knows when that will be.
Sig blew it with the non-standard rail with the first instance of the p250. That was one factor that influenced the failure of that platform. But, hey... why not try it again, right?

"Always with the negative waves, Moriarty" ---The single stack 9mm class of firearms is my main go to for Concealed Carry. I've shot or owned most of them; Springfield XDS, Glock 43, Walther PPS. This Class of firearm's biggest drawback is lack of firepower. With all those others the magazine capacity is 6/7 rounds. This thing holds 10....that is Glock 26 capacity and this thing still maintains the single stack width. Add to that it is in the same weight class as the Glock 43, appears to have good texturing on the grip, and has a flat snagfree design . Shutup and take my money. Only way Sig can mess this up is if they give it a bad trigger.

I'm impressed right off the bat. 10+1 and 12+1 capacity in a 1' wide package is definitely a wake-up call to the competition.
Sig is one of the best manufacturers in the business.

I just replaceed my Hellcat for this. I really loved the hellcat on paper until I got to the range.. I already have the m17.... So a friend let me shoot his P365 and I fell in love right away. I put my HellCat up for sale the same day via the Range consignment sales.

This is what Glock should’ve done for their Gen 5 G26. Trimming the fat to 1” width, and even if they went to a height of 4.2 or matched the 4.3 of this p365, they’d have made a major impact. Instead, same chubby G26, low capacity G43, and left the door open for this beauty. I like my G26 but this may actually be “perfection”

Just waiting on the P365MS (manual safety) to hit the market, then its a done deal. This will be my first Sig. Never have been able to afford a Sig in the past but always wanted one. I scraped and saved for this one. There is not another pistol on the market that can do what this one can. A high capacity 9mm micro sub compact that fits into the palm of my hand and into my pocket. Pretty awesome.
Everything about this gun looks good. Sig's going to dominate the market with this gun except in the budget category. The Shield will win when it comes to cost.

Ed McGinty I wouldnt say that. It's going for $499 - $525 in pre order which isnt bad. If it's popular it will cost more, if not less. Not terrible for the gun you would carry most. Still the Shield is the better overall value

Yeah it should come with the 10 rd extended may and the 12 as well. I wouldn't care about the flush 10 rd. But after the recent drop fire scandal I'll pass on all their pistols thanks

One thing I will say i respect sig for is to my knowledge they have never forgotten about the civilian customer. Even though they had and now again have major military contracts they are able to come to market with new products or at least keep their current products readily available to the consumer. Thanks Sig and I am honestly very interested in this product. I'm going to be keeping an eye out for any reviews or content on this firearm. I think this maybe the first Sig I add to my collection.

That 12 round mag not only gives you more rounds but also more grip on the handle if you have big hands.

I fell in love with sig last year.. pick up the p320 with the original trigger that everyone was scared about dropping on it's back end and going off.. I am not planning to change the trigger I love the way it feels the way it shoots now if I have plans in the future by holding my gun by its barrel and dropping it on his back in then maybe I'll replace the trigger.. thank you sig for a AK reliable style pistol

I need to test this out. I have shot the P320 (very nice firearm). If I liked how the P365 handles, I'd immediately sell my Glock 43 and purchase this for use as my everyday carry gun.

1st striker fire to get my attention. I'll have to check it out. Hesitation is wishing for 3.5" barrel. I bet 13 rounds low below the axis actually improves recoil and follow up shots.
It's modular, so they may eventually offer longer slide assemblies and such.

I love my G19's, but I hope this gun from Sig is successful. As big as the G43 is, they could have beat SIG to punch with a similar offering but they screwed that up. Maybe this will force them to up their effort on the design side. I had a 290 RS i enjoyed, but couldn't get over the trigger. Maybe this can will fill that niche if it proves reliable, I will gladly give SIG my money.
No doubt will be buying one to carry and drop off my G43 in the safe
It's not the company but design that matters. Just look at low old Beretta and SIG are how New Block is but still very successful.
I have my Glocks, but G Fanboys seem to harbor bitterness, probably due to having their druthers ignored by Father Gaston and the fact that innovation seems to be a low priority.

SIG is really innovating here. I usually use glock for peesonal carry but this gun right here is putting checks in more boxes of my preferences than any gun yet. Its very small and yet 11 rounds. Just wow! This gun is a game changer. Copy cats to come.

Just got one in the MS version and its been flawless through over the first 200 rounds of various ammo. The trigger is very good or smooth and consistent for a striker fired pistol with a good reset and its surprisingly soft shooting with soft felt recoil for a tiny micro compact that is still snappy. The better trigger and longer rails make a world of difference. You guys will either love me or hate me for my video of it. Haha. Its a great pistol. You have some of the best engineers and innovation on the market.

Love the magazine capacity in a small package. Please be aware that these wonderful capacity magazines are the hardest to load of any I have ever used. Difficult to load to the point that Sig Sauer should include a Magazine Loader with every unit (this is not a joke, hyperbole or in anyway an exaggeration).

This is very interesting! It takes a lot to get me excited about a subcompact these days. I've tried everything out there and nothing has managed to fit my EDC needs better than my Shield. But 10/12 +1 in something that small is a game changer.
I really like my P365. As of now I have 350 trouble-free rounds. However, I can see noticeable wear on the barrel and denting on the corners of the casing of the barrel opposite the feeder ramp. I also have a Sig M11-A1 and a P226 Legion SAO - both with many, many more rounds through them and they both show less much wear than the P365 is showing. I do like the gun and enjoy shooting it. But, I am concerned about the wear…

The dimensions on the XDe are actually quite bigger so possibly. I wouldn’t say the XDe is a subcompact. Only Compact. Sig made the 224 a few years back which they discontinued but it had a DA/SA decocker. The problem was that it was way too thick.
p30sk is a hair bigger and exact setup you're looking for. also standard 10rd mag and optional 11/12/15/20/30 round mags.

P30sk is a half inch longer and half inch taller than P365. It’s also a lot thicker. There are lots of 10 round guns with the p30sk’s size. It’s a Compact at best. I want a subcompact with 10 rds of 9mm

Just bought one from Bass Pro today. If SIG is good enough for Special Operations, it's good enough to be my EDC.
Hopeful there are no embarassing "optional upgrade" programs on this one.

Looks pretty cool! But are you going to charge 50 bucks for a sheet metal tube with a spring in it that costs 5 dollars to manufacture? Magazine price gouging really pisses me off and I'm not alone.
Instead of complaining about magazine prices why don't you instead start making your own.
If you can make a reliable replacement magazine for cheaper then you can have all the mags you want and start making a profit selling them.
Until then you're not entitled to complain about the price you just have to decide if you want to buy it. That's how capitalism works.
Magazine failure is one of the most common causes of autoloader problems. I always buy the best I can find, almost always name brand and I don't compromise on this.
I don't care if Sig or GLOCK make an extra $30. I just need the gun to work. I'll conserve somewhere else to pay for it. Just my opinion here

Dear Sig Staff; we are happy with the P365, but some of us are having trouble getting the 12 round magazines. We want you guys to make them easier to get, and if possible, we would like a P365 package that comes only with 12 round magazines. Somewhere between 2 and 5 magazines. You guys already have NRA P365 which comes with 2x 10 rounders and 1x 12 rounder. Please make a 12-round-only package. Thanks
