Yes, sirree, and he made sure everybody saw it. Most people do things like that in a very low profile way for the personal experience of gifting, someone less fortunate, but that’s not how Craig rolls.

Longer or shorter, it doesn't matter. The videos are almost always great to watch. I always find it interesting to watch the how-to videos. something like restoring the headlight with sandpaper ad then the two different solutions was really insightful. I remember when this channel only had like 30k subscribers. It's amazing how fast it grew.

Gen 1 Vipers (no disrespect Craig) are somewhat museum pieces. They are so raw you really do need to know what you are doing or else death is a real possibility. They are absolute, pure raw power with no nannys to look after you. Maintenance and repair costs if you want to drive it are absolutely insane. Comfort was never a consideration when Dodge designed and built the original Gen 1 Viper. A later Viper is a far nicer car (IMO) and it actually has side windows .... imagine that? 😂

I enjoy longer videos as long as the content is cool. Love the color on that 95 Viper!! Sadly, it was "shared" across the platforms at Chrysler back then....almost bought a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Convertible in that color back in 1998...but the car had too many issues, and bought a different one on the lot.

One thing with restoring headlights... When you sand and polish them, you're removing the old oxidized protective coating. You need to spray them with clear coat and then wet sand and polish. If you don't, the UV with bake the unprotected plastic and it'll be cloudy again in less than a year. If the goal is to make it good enough to sell, I guess clearing isn't necessary. If you want to do it the right way, and make the headlights last, clear coat them.

The thing about long videos: you can play them at 1.25 speed OR fast forward over boring parts or pause and go back. Personally I hate when some youtubers stretch a video "theme" over 10 videos over 10 weeks with a whole bunch of fill to make each video longer.

I also did my subaru headlights. But as far as I heard and did you need to add a new uv shielding layer on the headlight. In my case I used a 2 component clear coat to make it uv resistant. The car is always parked outside those headlights look great for two years now. If you do not spray this layer I believe they will start to yellow again very fast.

If I'm pressed for time i'll check you out on TikTok to see what's coming up, and if I have time like I do today I just watch two or three videos. Awesome car, and great work so far! My dream car is the blue/white pinstripe 96' Viper GTS. I got to drive one once, and would LOVE to own that car. The Vipers you have stress me out with the whole reaching inside to open the doors....
Random thought and I don't know if it is plausible or not, BUT you "daily drove" the Hummer. Now do it with the green Viper. I've been watching long enough to know you would never do it with your red, but do it with the green for like a week.

Best way to preserve paint on your favorite car is not let anything touch it that isn’t absolutely necessary. Blow dry that red Viper with a purpose built car dryer or a shop vac with a reduction nozzle. Get water out of all nooks and crannies, side mirror housings, grille, etc. A good detail spray as a drying agent and a plush microfiber (not Costco yellows) will clean up any stray droplets. Silicone squeegees are okay for lot cars but not something you really care about..
