@tdneVmo because it has a crossplane crank shaft a piston every 90 degrees, with an uneven firing order,,,sounds like this but extremely smooth even compared to my cbr 1100 my R1 much smoother and you dont get feeling of needing to go up a gear all the time as it cannot produce the inline four vibration which causes this!!!!
