Mistakes I’ve made in trying to improve:
Trying to fix everything I don’t like about myself
Giving up every time I stop doing stuff for a couple of days
Beating myself up whenever I don’t meet the standards I’ve set
Not loving myself enough as I am and thinking I need to improve to be good enough

@@ciro4063 You have to learn how to love yourself even if want to improve. Because if you don't, this will never happen or will never last long because there is always something to improve.

    • @ciro4063
      @ciro4063 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@andresbriones8054 Take it from a guy who has truly got over their past. You get over your issues then you accept certain truths. That's it. There is no more improving aside from being more understanding of others because there are 7billion people in the world to understand, but aside that, no there really isn't much to "improve" yourself to be at peace.
You can try to love yourself before you care for others but growing happened much better when I wanted to grow to help others. So my end goal was once I had enough knowledge that I would help them. See, loving yourself to be is selfish. Selfishness will only take you so far. You grow to ultimately help others because there is no way a *human* would be at peace after moving on from past trauma and not wanting to help others. It's that selflessness that helps you grow, to be more understanding of others and yourself

4 things to quit for all people:
    1. Caring about what others think
    2. Not believing in yourself
    3. Not prioritizing your health
    4. Wasting your precious time
Bonus: If you ever bite your nails, consider stopping nail-biting as it affects all areas of your life: from relationships -> career/business/income...And it affects it A LOT! 3 necessary skills for personal development:
    1. GROWTH mindset - get away from the "fixed mindset" where you are afraid of getting out of your comfort zone.
    2. STAY CALM - learn how to de-stress yourself and de-escalate a tense situation
    3. RESILIENCE - learn to bounce right back: learn from your mistake and try again.

    1. Drink more water. Or, eat a lot of grapes. I suggest red, green, vitoria grapes.
    2. Eat Whole Foods. Fruits = grapes, blackberries, strawberries. Vegetables = Broccoli, Onions.
    3. Practise Gratitude. Be grateful for what you have, then you will always have enough. Keep thinking about what you don't have, and you will never have enough.
    4. Read a book. Top books I recommend are the subtle art by mark manson, and how to win friends and influence people.
    5. Listen to a TED talk. So many topics!
    6. Forgive someone. This is good for yourself. You let go of the stress, the anxiety.
    7. Join a group of supportive individuals. You are the people you surround yourself with. You are what u pay attention to.
    8. Congratulate yourself for your growth. Positive reinforcement lets u keep going. You are getting better every day.
    Well Done!

Personality psychology is my favorite branch. It has become part of my relationship strategy to predict a girl's result on a quiz and why I think so. It allows me to not only know them so much better, but also it shows them that they have flaws that make them who they are. I show them how acceptable those are to me. I would love to see this become a team building activity.

Absolutely! Self-improvement is all about those tiny, incremental changes. I often felt stagnant during tough times, but reflecting on my journey helped me see just how far I’ve come. Humor can be a tricky territory-sometimes it lands, and other times it just flops, leaving us second-guessing ourselves. I discovered valuable insights in the Sense of Humor Improvement Program by Habit10x, which reminded me that every attempt, whether successful or not, is a step forward. Keep pushing through those mental blocks; you’re growing more than you realize, and laughter makes the journey all the more enjoyable!

something i want to say about < self love >. This is something that I understood after many years of trying to grow self confidence and love. You must not try to change yourself but accept. Change your perspective, really, juste that lmao. Your way of seeing things and especially seeing yourself threw peoples eyes.

I am 22 years old student, and past two years I was really struggling. A year ago I started using Forwago, and their personalized plans helped me a lot. I eat healthier, even started to workout, it helped me build my self-confidence, and maybe the best thing I started my small online business. It is nothing special, but it is nice to earn some money. And I am still making the progress. Take care of yourself and start building the life of your dreams. Everybody is capable of achieving their dreams.

I found that I was forgiving people too easily and being too nice so I actually kind of had to feel my anger and realize some people weren't good for me and keep them out of my life in order to start healing and find more peace and contentment. Kind of a strange paradox but it worked for me and I honestly think our society teaches people to forgive and keep taking abuse too easily. I get that forgiveness is for the person doing it and that it doesn't mean you have to have a relationship with the person abusing you but a lot of times that is left out and people just hear "forgive and forget and let the person keep being an entitled jerk and treating me badly and I'll find happiness," which is NOT the case. My own list of self improvement and becoming happier had to include learning how to enact boundaries that protect me from other people's negative attitudes and behavior, up to and including feeling enough anger at them to stop talking to them and keep them out of my life, even if I did eventually forgive them for my own well-being.

All I drink is water just because I like it. ♥️ I'm not that great at eating good though. 😁 I also could be better at having an " attitude of gratitude". I don't read too often from books but I do homeschooling. I would like to expand my vocabulary words though, and have a better understanding of what I read. For me watching someone do good inspired me to do good. ❤️ When it comes to forgiving someone, I honestly don't even know where I stand. I don't have friends. 😅

My tip is to value the time that you/we have. BROWSING using your phone every single can give you laziness. And I learned that using phone is just like dreaming without REALITY.... I advised the younger generation to minimize using phone, because it can't help them to improve their personalitya and skills.

    WARNING! WARNING!
Although 8 glasses of water a day is the recommendation, it is NOT nessisary!!
Water is nessisary, but OVER-HYDRATION is more of a problem than dehydration! You should drink water when you're thirsty, don't force yourself to drink 8 cups a day!
If you fear you aren't getting enough water, just replace your normal drinks with water, and remember
Things like tea are MOSTLY water, but shouldn't be used to replace a normal drink of water! Things like tea wont be processed in your body like water. You might get some water out of it, but a cup or bottle of water should be your way of getting your daily water needs!

One thing I’ve really been stressing is to realize mistakes are ok and part of life. Realizing that we all have imperfections sometimes is the best way to self improve but this only applies to when ur goals over come ur life so much that u don’t credit urself or allow urself to succeed. I’m not saying splurge I’m saying make sure u enjoy what ur grinding for at some point in the process then ofc continue

Water advice: get a 24 oz water sipper (I like Nalgene's On-the-Fly bottles, which have wide drinking spouts and seal securely and easily); according to Mayo Clinic, women should try to drink 3 of these daily and men, 4-but work up to it *gradually*. Your kidneys take a while to "get the memo" of your new water consumption levels, and for a few days it'll seem like you're peeing every 10 minutes because the kidneys are still producing urine at their previous levels of concentration...but in 3-7 days they'll finally figure out that they don't have to produce that much urine and things will settle down. Also, try to complete your main water consumption by 6 PM to avoid having to get out of bed multiple times to pee, and drink one of those 24 ouncers first thing in the morning. Two ways to confirm you're drinking enough water: pee in the toilet should be a light straw color, and your lips won't chap. Signed, your friendly pharmacist :-)
