Amazing man!!! I can see how much passion you put in it...and It's very much, so congrats coz u r awesome, really...i'm happy to be in the peaceful army and i hope u'll never stop to rock 🔥👏💜
I recently discovered your channel and would like to say that I am blown away by your talent and the speed that this video was uploaded. As a fellow guitar player, I would like to thank you for helping me learn some of Gretas greatest hits. I was also wondering if you've ever thought about uploading these videos with a link to a tab in the description? It's just a thought have a great day!
Thanks very much! It's awesome to hear my vids have helped you learn a bunch of their stuff! I have thought about doing tabs before, and I decided not to do them just to save myself from any copyright trouble that may come up. I also dont have a ton of time to write tabs as I am a university student as well!
Bro I am stuck on how to play the part where it is leading up to the chorus where it goes “ she walk awayyyyyy”. It looks like you’re playing fifths but I can t tell. Any help you can give here is appreciated
Yeah so it is fifths, the first one is 5th D, 7th G, then you slide to 4th D and stay on 7th G, and then 3rd D, 5th G, followed by 2nd D, open D, 3rd A, open D. Hope this helps a bit!
Haha yea! I hope to have it up asap. I've got a cold right now though unfortunately which is why I haven't had lessons up for the past few days. I'll post it as soon as my head clears up!
Normally I pick out the notes that I'm hearing and think about where i can play them on the guitar neck. So with chords and such, I listen to the notes that are in the chord, and the pitch of those notes, and then try and find where I can play that chord on the neck with all the notes at the correct pitch
We love you man keep rocking glad to see your still quick to upload :). And aside from that I’d like to hear your thoughts on this song and possibly what you think the rest of the album will be like?
Thanks man! I thought this song was really good, especially Josh's vocals! I honestly am not sure what the rest of the album will be like. I heard that this song was supposed to be on the peaceful army album, but was left off. With that being the case, their new album could have a different sound again, or could reflect off of this new single they've released.
Dylan Jones Lol I seen that Instagram post too well thanks man your feedback will send my mind searching again lol hopefully they stick with their original style I did like this song but it doesn’t compare to anything on their first Ep’s in my opinion although it was good I guess I’m just nervous cause of that interview where they talked about a totally different album I’m worried they’ll lose the sound we all love that they produce together
No problem! Unfortunately I don't do tabs to stay out of any copyright issues, but I do have a lesson for this one on my channel if you want to check it out!
Haha when I listen to the song I can sort of see it in my head where to play it on the guitar neck, and then when I sit down and try it, I adjust if I'm slightly off. You gotta start with easier songs to learn by ear and build up, and also know your guitar fingerboard super well!
Dylan Jones Yeah the main part is quite easy but it’s the little details that make it tricky but I’ve got most of it down, cheers !!!! I’m seeing them in November and I’m gonna have sign saying can I play on stage 😂😂😂 won’t work but can only try
Ok I’ve just been playing it now I know the chords, the first half so far!!!! Cheers dude this is killer !! What would you recommend for amp settings ? I have a plexi if that helps
Awesome to hear! Bass knob about half way, the treble knob should be at about the third notch, the middle one should be all the way up. I am also using an Ibanez tube screamer which I recently purchased. Really good pedal. I will talk about it when I do my 2K special vid!
Dylan Jones oh right ok cheers man!!!!!! I’ll give it a go and I’ll save it into my presets!!!! I have the Marshall Code 50, it can replicate vintage cabs and has a plexi setting on it which I never switch off 😂😂, but thanks though really helped !!!!! Followed you on insta I’m Luke.halenko just in case
@@saddletrampingmagazine okay that's awesome man! The Marshall tones are pretty wicked! Okay I'll check that out... maybe even give you a follow back ;)
Marshall JVM tube amp. Bass knob is half way, treble is about 3 notches up, middle one is all the way up. Use a little bit of distortion too, not too much. I'm using an Ibanez Tube Screamer pedal, but light distortion works.
This is awesome to hear! The best way to improve your skills is to play things by ear! I will try and have a guitar lesson up asap. I am just trying to get rid of a cold right now!

@@djones_music Thank you very much man, you are an excellent guitar player, so I know you can go far and fulfill all your goals, You have a lot of talent
But it does, don’t get me wrong they’ve made their own sound out of it but you can clearly tell they’re heavily inspired by Zeppelin, from the guitar to the same drum kit used by bonham, the vocals are probably the biggest giveaway, while yes Josh’s vocals have more of growl to it, his vocals are very similar to Plant’s, Robert even acknowledged that. I really do like Greta Van Fleet and I do believe that they’ve crafted their own style and sound, there’s no denying the similarities to Zeppelin.
