The tow hitch modification is not for banner towing. I suppose you could drag up one letter at a time…. I have one on my Cub. The intent is to leave the tail tied down so it can be hand started with a single user. After start and when the chocks are pulled and the pilot is strapped in, they can pull the handle and taxi away. Thanks for the great video!
Thanks, that made sense, but I don't have the handle anymore, I thin some parts were removed after it was installed, I guess I never looked at another Cub tailwheel that close to notice the difference. I leave mine tied down by the tail when I start it s well. Thanks for watching.
Have a 46 with logs from purchase new and receipt . Had a ground loop in 52/52 went back to the factory put in the jig to replace the tail section.
