Definitely. My hair is dyed and not growing my aunt said i need a trim. My mom doesn't have spare money for a trip to the salon or dominicans and i dont want my hair super short (its right above my breast) idk what to do Edit 7 months later: my hair ended up falling to the bottom of my neck length a couple months ago from not trimming, so i purchased really sharp shears on amazon (literally sliced a small part of my palm open) and trimmed about 1-3 fried inches off, around this January or February i bleached my hair, it came out fine gonna need to trim again as soon as i find my shears, none of my hair fell out from the bleach, i havent straightened or blow dried it since ive bleach it, its currently back bra strap length

I used to straighten my hair every day for school and i hated my curly hair. I’m arab so i grew up thinking curly hair is messy dirty hair so i always made sure my hair was straight. Anyways once quarantine came along i did a big chop on my hair stopped using heat and learnt to be confident with my hair and most importantly broke the stereotypes!
lol, yep. Since I shaved my head 2.5 years ago for the third and last time, I have kept my hair natural. Now it's around 14 inches, no flat-irons, no dryers. I haven't set foot in a salon in over 15 years. But in a few more years when it's longer I will be seeking her out to flat iron and trim. It either her or nobody, I love the way she handles hair with care and always does excellent work. I couldn't bring myself to trust anyone else in my hair.

I’ve always had HORRIBLE hair stylists (stuff like jealous chicken heads who cut off my hair without asking or snuck relaxer in, overlapping relaxers that I didn’t even want in the first place, gossiping about my relatives in front of me, having their children’s hair long and heathy but keeping their clients bald and damaged, etc, I was a child btw) and I really thought all stylists were hating ass people who just damage your hair while making it look good. Watching you (and a couple others) let me know those stylists I was forced to go to as a child were ignorant and just bad stylists.

I LOVE when you say “heat isn’t the enemy, lack of knowledge is.” Going natural, there are so many people that suggest never putting heat on your hair and my OG stylist said getting a silk press about twice a year (aka every six months) is the way to go. You are a master of your craft and that's one reason why I could see she chose you to do her hair and it's clear to see why, but outside of that you seem different than done if the other stylist. I can say for myself that your personality alone other than that I'm not surprised. You never make anyone feel bad about their hair and choices they may have made prior to seeing you and you have a comfort and supportive air about you, to where a client would feel comfortable and confident that your going to give them the best experience possible. @@krislatoya7556 not a nut allergy but I have a lot of fruit, veggie and plant allergies. It’s important to avoid products with those things at all, inside and out.
@@KiaSoulEV-rt4sg + definitely! And the way the regulations are set up, companies aren’t required to put overt warning for allergies. Folks have to be extra careful and vigilant before placing products on the body.
