- Let's understand how cloud trail works? and let's do a simple hands on demo. To see what cloud trail has to offer.
AWS CloudTrail is a service that enables governance, compliance, operational auditing, and risk auditing of your AWS account.
When we use cloud trail remember that all the calls made to the AWS APIs using
the AWS Management Console,
the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI),
or own applications and third-party software will be recorded by cloud trail and publishes the log files to the Amazon S3 bucket of your choice and with any action taking place the log files are generated and it can be stored on S3 and a very important thing here is that CloudTrail can also send notifications to SNS topics as well and you can also view the logs on the console

yeah, you can create your log steams and check the trail that you have. Else you can store them on S3 and take the help of Athena to query as per your requirement.,

What's the difference between trial events saving in S3 buckets & Cloud Watch log groups? Is cloud watch log group really necessary for an AWS account while setting up Trial?

Sir....i also created same like this cloud trial but I haven't get multi regional log folders, only 1 region i got. U also got only 2 regions log folders I think. We have to get all regions. But why can't we get. I wish to see video, how AWS Athena analyses, due to cost I haven't created Athena. is it Any Cyber security SIEM Tool type? Logrythm type?

Can I set CloudTrail with SNS to notify only on EKS Cluster Creation or Deletion?
I have tried to do this but I am able to get all notifications, I am interested only in Create and Delete event for EKS.
Yes, you can configure AWS CloudTrail with Amazon SNS to receive notifications only for EKS cluster creation or deletion events. Here are the steps to configure this:
Create an Amazon SNS topic: If you haven't already, create an SNS topic to receive the CloudTrail notifications. You can create the topic from the SNS console.
Configure CloudTrail: In the CloudTrail console, create a new trail or edit an existing trail that you want to configure. In the trail settings, ensure that you have selected the S3 bucket where you want to store the CloudTrail logs.
Configure CloudTrail event selectors: In the CloudTrail trail settings, configure the event selectors to only include EKS cluster create and delete events. To do this, select the "Event selector" option and then click "Add event selector". In the "Data events" section, select "EKS" as the service name. Then, in the "Event name" section, select "CreateCluster" and "DeleteCluster".
Configure SNS subscription filter policy: In the SNS topic settings, you can configure a subscription filter policy to only receive notifications for the EKS cluster create and delete events. To do this, select the "Subscription" option for the topic and then click "Create subscription". In the "Create subscription" dialog, select "AWS Lambda" as the protocol and then enter a Lambda function ARN or endpoint URL. In the "Filter policy" section, you can define a JSON filter policy to only receive notifications for the EKS cluster create and delete events.
