They used this method when there's little space to the holder or cases anyway. Unlike them, i isolates each cell groups with gold thermo tape. Sometimes double or triple. it'a thin, sticky, heat resistant and doesn't conduct if something goes wrong. Good stuff
No need for looking further.. these cells have no cell holder/separator.. it is the first reason it should not be sold or used.
What a mess, would've loved to see what was inside the power supply.
Thats why i build my own Batteries... :)
I HATE those empty chargers...
My Power Tool (18V) have bigger BMS
I love that he craks the shit out hahaha

Kapton tape is the duck tape of electronics ;)
Hold up, gold thermo tape conducts electricity! Doesn't it?
Bought one of those chargers, left a 1 star rating and threw it away. No way I'm connecting an empty charger to NY battery
probably for the best, i did meet some people that use similar chargers for years with no problems, they work ok but usually give out 1.2A max.
This type of battery build is very common in no-name scooters/ebikes in GCC. Surprisingly never seen them catching fire though 😂
It's a bad fire waiting to happen.
They didn't connect the BMS as it's too low power.
You are a funny guy, thanks for the entertaining Video
New to your videos. Thanks.
Are you sure this is not a common port type of BMS?
that looks like the usual chinese BestWay BMS that is in every pack. The connections are the way he says. even Bosch has no common port charging
