Before installing the pickup, I checked the output and looked at the phase. I did not try to measure the overall output. It's good to check. I will do so in the future.
I saw this in the refinishing video too, why do you countersink the holes on the body/neck when the screw heads that require the countersinking dont make contact with the body or neck?
Huh. Not sure I understand why you went to the trouble of hollowing out dowels on lathe to press in to tuner holes. It's way easier to glue in solid dowel then re-drill appropriate size hole. Anyway. Nice editing on these videos. The lighting is great.
@@Andybassguitar I’ve seen you ‘play’ on your videos….trust me, we turn knobs while playing, and again you didn’t understand what I said… they stick out too high is all I said, and they really do, to each there own of course but, I see so many ridiculous gimmicks and impractical aesthetics. Believe me I deal with the same shit from people
Thank you for your comment. I probably understand what you are trying to say. From the point of view of ease of playing, it is also important that the knobs are easy to turn, and that they don't hit your hands when you play. The knobs in the video were added after discussing with the owner about the importance of appearance. The fact that the knob was changed soon after the owner played the guitar suggests that there must have been a problem. Or his taste has changed. As far as playability is concerned, I think there are a lot of problems even with traditional guitars. But it has become a tradition, and many users prefer it that way. It's really up to each individual to decide what's better.
That mount you fabricated for the Novak gold foil was truly inspired. Great work Andy!
Thank you Andy.... as always, it is a pleasure and honour to watch you work.
Gorgeous. Loved the sound, too.
You are a madman my friend! in a good way.
Thank you!
Good job
Wow 💥
This is a great job
Beautiful. What knobs are these ?
Did you test the switching at the output jack with an ohm meter before you finished assembling?

@@Andybassguitar Very interesting, i learned something today. Thankyou!
Ficou linda!
Couldn't you just have mounted the gold foil directly to the top of the pickguard?
Andy do you use wood glue to set your nut? Amazing video as always!
I use a tight bond.
And super glue.
What's the product you use to hydrate de rosewood fretboard??
Homemade beeswax wax.
What paste did you run on fretboard?
Original beeswax wax.
The name of music on end of video?
I am searching the same.

I chose this method because I thought this method would be more accurate than that method.
Thanks.

Yikes those knobs are obtrusive and ridiculous...not practical at all.
I rarely see people playing while turning the knobs these days.
It has a different knob now.
