The word archetype stems back to Plato and the Greek word ‘archetypos’, or original form. Archetypes represent a primordial image, character or pattern of circumstances that recurs consistently enough to be considered a universal concept or situation.

Are you implying that vegetarianism is related to the heart/empathy? Again, not sure how this relates to the video.
If they are used as mentors in the hero s Journey ( wich is most of the time) they have to die so the hero can become a master. Yoda, Obiwan, gandalf the grey, harry potter old school director mage dude ( I dont remember his name) etc etc
