@@adfranko3622 i was all about the EFF until Malema revealed himself as one of the biggest snakes in history of traitors when he showed himself to be a vaccine peddling tool for the colonizers. Malema acts like he hates the Oppenheimers but he is a servant of the Bilderbergs and Rotchilds. Hopefully you see things and learn through the 2020hindsight.

I thought i knew but i realized that i'm an infant on my history as a black South African. The lesson i learned today is really eye opening and it make me to be eager for more. People see you fighting on Parliament and think that you are disrespectful, little do they know the fight is genuine. I applaud you....Salute. I'm so emotionally and introspecting myself on my contribution to the liberation of our people. Viva Fighters..

Sarafina is one of our greatest South African productions. Beautiful music, great choreography and a more than accurate account of the political history of our country. You cannot begin to compare it to this lecture which ia equally informative and eye-opening, but of course in a different way. It's perfectly fine to appreciate Shivhambu's lecture, which I have also enjoyed, but to do so by comparing it to a movie is disingenuous my leader.

All races in South Africa were deprived of their history knowledge and it is the reason why we are in this position today. It's a pity that the majority is suffering and bearing the remnants of this as a result. Great content!!! I would have been much more interested with our history if this was taught at school. History was the first subjects I discarded because the content never meant anything to me.

Very powerful conclusion. History is at the backbone of any future generation. You look at your past to see the future. There is no knowledge in the future or present , it’s in the past. Those who created a bad past try to burry it and distort history to create an impression of the better future. But looking back, you can see the future you so desire. Good history for South Africa and Africa.

As a youth of 1976, I always knew about this history but now as an adult, my role is to give advice to our youths and daughters so that they become wiser. You see, Africans, in general, don't only need, political and economic freedom, they also need liberation from mental slavery. Every evil start from the mind. Africans adapted all sorts of nonsenses from whites including religions at the expense of their Culture, Spirituality and ancient their ancient ways of survival that were with their ancestors for thousands of years before any enslavement or colonisation could possibly take place. African Communalism was an ancient practice in Afrika and it incorporated all economic, political, and spiritual strategies for our survival... not Communism or Socialism. Thanks.

Before Kenya destroyed its education, they taught us this history. I studied South African history for two years in High school. The Boers were recruited by Lord Delamare to settle in Kenya when the white British from England baulked, to date racists European are called "kaburu" in Kenya. Upon independence many migrated back to S. Africa.

You should've also touched on what Kgoši Sekhukhune did for the natives in the north during the battles for Transvaal. But I enjoyed this lecture. It is worrying how a good chunk of this factual and often glorious history of our people has been systematically erased from our media, social and educational systems. I can also now understand why ANC saw it necessary to squeeze all other Pan Africanist movements such as PAC and AZAPO out of our history books and future political spheres of influence because they would've exposed the ANC's inherent softness towards handling the racial decimantion of our people by the Colonial settlers.

Very interesting video. As a White South African, I also agree that this should be taught in schools.
The notion that RSA's history starts with 3 ships arriving in the 1600s is just so fundamentally flawed. Its a part of South Africa's history but there is a lot that happened before.
I learned a lot of this in std 4 and 5 history class back in the 90s so it's interesting to see you having to create a video with it on your channel and also for people in the comments to say they learned something new... Does this not get taught in school anymore?
If this is the case then it should definitely be taught in school.
My only question is if there is a version of the EFF's vision of South Africa where whites still live in it or are total removal od them the only solution.
In most of the interviews or parliament debates it sounds like the EFF is extremely anti-white of anything and so this might scare a lot of whites in South Africa.

We are hungry, we are still oppressed, we are suffering GOD has placed us in Africa. Precisely this is the garden of Eden where Adam was and the serpent came and deceive him in his territory. Portuguese were never a hegemonic power. They have always pretty much been Spain's little brother. They were traders looking for a way to avoid contact with the actual hegemonic power in Eastern Europe and North Africa - the Ottomans. The Cape settlement was never much more than a refreshment station on the way to the greater wealth of the east. SAs real problems began with the discovery of gold and diamonds...
