    Thank you for your insight and experience with woks with their pros and cons. Do you like the Cuisinart to do everything from stir fry, to frying, to boiling, to steaming?

    Take, fantastic review. I've seen that IMUSA cast iron wok at my walmart in Canada. I was suspicious of the low pricing, as cast irons of similar size online are at least double that price. But, I'm still glad i didn't get it. My rental unit has a flat surface stove. Unfortunately, they don't carry the IMUSA light cast iron. I've used a different brand of LCI before, but it had tiny ridges on it and everything I cooked stuck like crazy. Did the IMUSA you recommend have those tiny ridges on it's surface?

    I got the Imusa carbon steel wok and it appears to have a silver "coating" on it. I bought it because it was supposedly natural steel. Is this silver coating the protective finish I'm supposed to remove???? It appear to very tough and not something I could just clean off with steel wool.

    I watched your another video talking about your top ten woks. May I know why you chose Cast Iron wok over stainless still wok as your number one choice?
    I’m using electric glass top stove and induction glass top stove. I spent around US$130 to buy a super iron wok (made in Japan) and I found it quite sticky and not very good to use (uneven heat spots inside the wok during cooking). I used to use fire stove and traditional round-bottom Chinese cast iron wok, like the one my nanny used (I live in HK), and it’s non-stick and easy to use.
    I don’t wanna waste money again and would like to find a suitable wok for induction glass top / electric glass top and everyday use and Wok Hei. (I found it’s easier to use wok on fire than elective stove…🥲)

      I'd say it's because your wok is new and has not yet built all the layers of seasoning the old wok had.

      @@grantsmith505 on the brand website, it says - “4-Layer Nitride Processing” harvest a rust resistant pan that is both tougher and corrosion resistant
