VCT LOCK//IN Brazil is the first event of the 2023 VALORANT Champions Tour and will feature every partnered team from the Americas, Pacific, EMEA leagues as well as two invited representatives from China. From February 13th to March 4th, 32 of the best teams in the world will battle it out at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera in São Paulo for three weeks of intense competition. The team that secures victory at LOCK//IN will earn their region an extra slot at Masters 2023.

Fnatic humbling the crowd is such a good feeling. When they are quiet, they are pierced with a reality check. With the crowd, I really hope that riot doesn't do another event in Brazil. The valorant community there is incredibly unwelcoming to other pro teams. Well done Fnatic, well played LOUD.

Thats normal for BRAZILIAN esports teams they are passionate , its just that valorant community is too soft , NAVI was fighting heroic or someone idk and they kept BOOING simple and simple always replied back with his gestures .

As a Brazilian it is very embarrassing to see the behavior of the audience. Like I understand the feeling of defeat I really wanted Loud to win but Fnatic deserved this win so much and it was a breathtaking turnaround. I apologize on behalf of Brazil. I saw many comments asking not to let Brazil host events like this and I totally understand. Congratulations Fnatic you really deserve this title
The amount of boo-ing I heard from the crowd was insane, no respect towards Fnatic at all, I hope Riot notices this and doesn't give Brazil another amazing event like this

Just because it happens in other sports doesn't it mean it's not lame. You don't have to celebrate for the "enemy" team, but booing is just disrespectful. If you want to call it "playful banter" or just "being passionate" that's just a shitty way of disguising shitty behavior under "I'm not rude, you're just too soft". I love the energy in Brazil but this mentality is just an echo chamber for toxicity.

Also extremely unhappy with the desk and the lack of the enthusiastic behaviour as when loud went into the half 9-3 up and they were so hyped but FNC win and they drop off completely
Pretty sure all if not most of them are from NA so they are not happy as they realised only 3 spots go to the americas league now plus through this tournament it shows that almost all of fnatic weaknesses from the past have disappeared which means they are gonna be even scarier in the future and the desk didn’t want fnatic to win they wanted them to be choke so they could laugh at them again because they know that as long as fnatic wins this event like they did especially in the way that they did the only real weakness this squad had will no longer be there and they will be a genuine super team in every meaning of the word as a lot of people have been calling them before the event started and that frightens them as it means that NA’s already very thin hold on staying at the top level and being the best region is truly starting to crumble and it’s a nightmare for them as it’s like de ja vu the same thing happened in csgo where a lot of the current NA pros came from at the very start they were the best but then EU came in and dominated it and destroyed NA’s dominance almost single handedly and it’s looking like it’s all happening again as navi and fnatic looking frightening with Europe mounting the charge with pacific and SA flailing from either side to completely destroy NA who were once dominance look at the improvements all 3 are doing and NA are remaining stagnant so now that even fnatic have won a trophy all the alarm bells are ringing and they are starting to get really worries that what happened to csgo might happen to valorant as well

@@mattpatt5951 don’t take it too serious just some theories I made which is most likely not accurate as this was really I think the first esports event I watched and followed plus I’m from Europe britain to be more specific so I am happy with fnatic winning and navi reaching semi finals as EMEA had 2 teams in the semi final and even won showing that we still have very powerful teams im just looking forward to the leagues now all 3 really it will be interesting to see where all the teams end up in their respective leagues

Never hold a tournament in Brazil again. The crowd is really disrespectful and has too little respect for other teams outside of Brazil. Also, it really pissed me off when I heard Derke's Twitter tweet about someone breaking the championship trophy. how stupid they are.
