- In this video the most passionate starcraft player gives us a lesson in countering a specific proxy. This proxy has been giving me a tough time as of late, so I had to get the world champ to show me how to counter it.

Yo, I never comment on your videos (Sorry Cap) but I had to express how cool this concept is. Seeing two players with the highest conceptual understanding of the game analyze their positions in "real time" with each other is an extremely cool perspective I feel us normies never get to see.

Clem's dodging of disruptor shots is just legendary. I just don't see another terran doing it nearly as well. He practically doesn't eat a big shot at all, always dancing at the edge of the disruptor shot range limit, and only occasionally needing to split when his army's too close. And he does all this while macroing and sometimes multitasking another army too. I'm convinced that he's the prototype Tesla robot with a ChatGPT O1 kernel. He probably got a big firmware upgrade right before EWC. 😆😆

I watched a game of clem vs reynor where reynor went 100 mutas and managed to win. All I could think the entire time was "Man, if I was the zerg here, I would lose against a gold level player."
Sometimes the micro of the best of the best is just incomprehensible to mortals. Or even harstem.
It amazes me how someone can play starcraft at 1000apm near flawlessly, but make three typos while typing a two-word chat message
His mind is probably going miles a minute. Same for me and I make the same kinds of mistakes in math and typos because my mind is already 2 sentences forward. Thank god for AI proofreading.

I alwys wonder about bunker repairing scv dodging shots, if moving the stalker right next to the bunker wouldnt make it much harder to do this, as there is nearly no flight time for the laser.
The ONLY way you can defend this is if you place your pylon on the low ground in such a way that the opponent isn't named Clem.
@Harstem ...Clem is real good at dodging shots at the repair SCV. Have you tried moving the stalkers a bit randomly in-between shots so that it's harder for clem to see when exactly you're targeting it? When the stalkers are stationary, they turn a bit towards the scv when they change targets, and this is obvious. But if they're moving and turning in-between each shot, then it won't ever be obvious when they're targetting the bunker vs the scv
what if you put your pylon hugging the nexus so that he has to pick a side where to put the bunker, and the side he picks you put your sheildbattery opposite side but behind the nexus, maybe he still reaches Idk ranges well but maybe that can work
49:15 got to be the nerdiest thing I've ever seen. Clem's micro to save the SCV is ridiculous, Harstem even faking the shot and Clem not falling for it, just wow.
I wonder if it would be worth it to move the stalker closer to the scv to make it easier to snipe it, but it comes at a risk of losing the stalker for free.

Hmm. Is cancelling natural nexus fatal sequentially? I assume it must be economical suicide, but also that barracks flight of shame which is the immediate hope is drastic as well. *addendum: those minerals could structurally fully wall the natural ramp...with some minimal early probe scout time sink you can immediately discount this hyper aggression (theoretically lol)

Is it mandatory to write messages ingame like baboon? 3 words per message max and like 80% you need decypher them for a minute

why attack the bunker at all with pylon+shield battery? cant we just wait for 2-3 stalkers and rush the bunker down. if needed cancel the pylon after the bunker is placed and place it somewhere else (not sure if this works with supply blocks). I don't actually play this games, just enjoy the gameplay, so take all these comments with a grain of salt :D
Reaper is ahead by 20+ seconds than ur 1st unit? (and there is nothing you can do about it?)
Because he need the cyber to get a 1.5 Tier unit. He can make a zealot, but it's irrelevant against a reaper, but as clem said, it can denie the bunker and the ground terran's CC. But The protoss player have to cut 2 drones to build that zealot.

very simple. If the best Protoss(MaxPax) in the world will do it, you must do it. Zealot adds more dps vs bunker too not just delay low ground CC. Sure u cut a few probes but now youre in the drivers seat. Worth

First game just shows how TvP is broken. There is absolutely nothing wrong with Harstem's playstyle, and I'm not falling for the idea that Clem is simply a better player. Nobody should have a game loss due to a single reaper, and be dealt the final blow by marines while having a good army composition, good technology, and decent to great micro.
This just showcases that you are too ignorant about the game to understand. "Falling for the idea" lmao.

0:40 300 APM in the first 15 seconds? In the first 15 seconds I have at most 2 total actions. Build an SCV and build a second SCV.
I'm curious if you move your second stalker right up to the scv at 49:00 if the animation is too fast for the scv to dodge. It's a common trick in League of Legends to last hit minions for gold to be as close as you can so you have the best chance of hitting your last hits. Maybe you're too far from the battery and lose the stalker but dont you win the fight if the worker dies? And maybe cut a worker for a third battery as well? Don't fill second gas until you're saturated? Terrans, everyone. Dumb bunkers
